During the summer months, Learning Experiences Ireland offers a unique Study English and Music in Ireland - Homestay Programme for young people age of all ages. The 2-week programme is open to young musicians of all levels and we are happy to accept beginner language learners. Sessions run throughout the summer.

Study English and Music in Ireland - Homestay Programme:

The summer Study English and Music in Ireland - Homestay Programme offers a unique combination of classical instrumental and vocal music study and language learning in a beautiful Irish countryside setting delivered by professional cellist and TESOL certified English language teacher Adele O'Dwyer.

The programme is designed to be intimate in nature as a maximum of 4 young people are accepted for each 2-week session. The programme incorporates language building activities through daily classes in English as well as through participation in musical, recreational and home-based activities. Sessions run throughout the summer.

English Language Immersion:

The language immersion aspect of the Study Music and English in Ireland - Homestay Programme comes about in a natural 'family oriented' manner as most of the day is spent in activities where young participants are engaging with English speakers. It is not the philosophy of our programme to prohibit the speaking of the mother tongue but rather to encourage and enable English language usage through engaging activities and working with individual pupils in many different ways. The central focus of our programme is to instill a desire and willingness to communicate in English.

We provide English summer courses for juniors and teenagers. Students are divided into groups according to age and level - ages 9-12 and 13-17.

We also provide a Young Kids' English Summer Camp for children ages 3-8. Your child can make new friends, while learning and playing through the English language.

Because our English summer camps for young kids and juniors are located only a few minutes walk from our Adult English school, Mum & Dad are always nearby.

We synchronise timetables so parents, younger kids and also their older siblings can attend one of our 3 separate, but closeby centres. This allows them to easily enjoy a unique ‘whole family’ learning experience, but with the needs of each family member attended to, according to their age and level. 

Our your learners make great progress in their English language skills, particularly listening and speaking. Our courses are professionally designed, and our teachers are qualified, experienced experts.

Our students build great confidence in using English. Each student's age, needs & learning styles are catered for. We offer a level assessment and interview on the first day and then you will join the class for your level.

In addition to our summer English courses, closed group or 'one to one' or 'two to one' English courses for juniors are available any time throughout the year.

Camp Yojoa - Summer English School in Ireland

Camp Yojoa is for children and young people aged 7 -17 from countries across the world who want to learn and practise English, meet new people, get involved in our fun activities and be a part of our Camp Yojoa community. We believe that camp is a unique and life changing experience which supports the learning and personal development of our campers.

Camp Yojoa is based in a boarding school for local and international students. It is located around 1 hour outside of Dublin in County Westmeath in the midlands of Ireland. The school has fully equipped dormitory rooms in separate locations for boys and girls.

The English immersion classes focus mainly on speaking with some parts of the lessons focusing on reading and writing. We want to improve campers’ technical skills but also their confidence and understanding of the language.

Campers get the opportunity to have an amazing cultural experience by visiting Dublin City.
We believe that by having an immersive English elective our campers always have a unique opportunity to practise and improve their understanding of the language during camp. 

Campers will be put into three groups; beginner, intermediate and advanced based on parent recommendation and an assessment completed by our English teachers on the first day of the elective.

The Kenilworth Language Institute is an ideal place to study in Dublin. It combines ease of access to the city centre with a calm and quiet environment that is perfect for learning. Our summer school for ages 13 - 17 aims to provide tuition in a happy, fun and stimulating environment. The emphasis is on improving the student's skills work, particularly their oral ability.

Students benefit greatly from staying with an Irish family, which affords an opportunity to converse, and encounter new cultural experiences, in a natural and warm environment.
