EF Beijing is nestled in a central, but quiet neighborhood, perfect for studying Chinese. Our accelerated teaching methods allow participants at lower proficiency levels to acquire the language skills needed for effective communication in Chinese in a short period of time, and advanced students to gain expression proficiency at an abstract level. With your Chinese language skills as a tool take your learning outside and explore – our Activities Director will give you tips or join an EF trip, perhaps on a weekend excursion to the Great Wall or Shanghai!

Our flexible Mandarin Chinese programs begin each Monday and offer Basic, General and Intensive language courses as well as exam preparation, internship and volunteer opportunities. We offer accommodation, full school support and daily activities allowing students to put their new Chinese language skills to use and gain an international perspective.

Accommodation:
Our Chinese courses in China include two choices of lodging, either a Chinese homestay or a student residence. Most EF Homestay families in China offer a single room and plenty of opportunities to practice your budding new language skills. The single room in an EF Homestay is included in the course fee. If you are looking for independence and an international atmosphere, you may want to consider a student apartment, which are available upon request.
