Are you searching for a quality boarding school in the South of England? Vinehall School is a co-educational, independent prep school in Robertsbridge on the East Sussex / Kent border. We provide nursery, kindergarten pre-prep and prep school programmes for boys and girls ages 2-13, with boarding facilities available from Year 3 onwards for students from throughout the UK and international students from around the world.

- High Standard of Pastoral Care
We actively encourage all students to approach any member of staff with whom they feel comfortable if they have a problem. In addition, Year 8 children in the prefect role aim to support younger children where they can. 

A child can have a designated tutor for more individualised and sustained support,. All senior boarders are automatically assigned a tutor, who meets with them on a weekly basis and will liaise with staff and parents as necessary. Our February 2012 ISI Inspection report said: "The quality of pastoral care is excellent."

All food is freshly cooked and produced from the best ingredients. All catering takes place in-house under the leadership of the Chef Manager and is served by a committed and well-supported catering team.

Education Programmes:
- Prep School (Years 3-8)
- Individual and small group lessons in English are offered to children for whom English is not a first language.
- Junior Boarding: Full-time & part-time boarding facilities available for children in Years 3-6
- Senior Boarding: Full-time boarding facilities for students in Years 7-8

Further Education Programmes:
- Pre-Prep School (Reception Year & Years 1-2)
- Nursery (for children ages 2+) & Kindergarten (for children ages 3+)

- Junior Boarding:
Full boarding is available for children in Years 3, 4, 5, and 6. However, if your child is interested in being a boarder but is not quite ready for full boarding, there is the option to board for just 4 nights a week. You can choose which 4 nights suit best. They can also choose to board on an ad hoc basis for a maximum of 3 nights per week.

- Senior Boarding:
In Years 7 and 8, boys and girls 'full' board i.e. weekdays and weekends. Every two or three weeks, there are regular exeat weekends, which begin on a Friday evening after school finishes, and end on a Sunday evening.

- Weekend Activities:
Weekends are a mixture of work, rest and play! On Saturday mornings, senior boarders have school classes, while junior boarders can do a club. We have a full programme of sports matches on a Saturday afternoon and these will take priority. Otherwise, on Saturday afternoons and Sundays, there are a variety of activities or trips. We try to include something for everyone.

Saturday nights are usually movie nights, with a choice of film and tuck. Sundays are a relaxed day, starting with a 'lie in' until 9am. All the boarders write a letter to a member of their family and Sunday afternoons are free time unless an outing or activity has been planned.
