Are you searching for a quality boarding school in the South of England? Vinehall School is a co-educational, independent prep school in Robertsbridge on the East Sussex / Kent border. We provide nursery, kindergarten pre-prep and prep school programmes for boys and girls ages 2-13, with boarding facilities available from Year 3 onwards for students from throughout the UK and international students from around the world.

Prep School - Years 3-8
With a maximum class size of 18 students, Years 3 -6 consist of two parallel classes, which expands to three parallel classes for Years 7-8. Through our carefully designed form structure, with its setting and streaming, we aim to maximise each child's individual potential. Individual and small group lessons in English are offered to children for whom English is not a first language.

Cognitive Ability Tests (CATS) are completed annually for children in Year 4 -7, which are useful diagnostic tools and provide good indicators of future potential. For all year groups, the curriculum is enriched by a variety of educational trips throughout the year.

In Year 3, the majority of the teaching takes place in the Form Room. Pupils are taught The innovative 'learning journey' curriculum begins in Year 3, teaching a variety of curriculum subjects through a central theme, thus stimulating enquiring young minds.
