English:
Photo of College Preparatory School in Arkansas for BoysThe English department at Subiaco Academy is committed to enriching the students' lives through literature by exposing them to many genres, themes, cultures, philosophies and experiences.

Math:

The Mathematics Department offers a quality mathematics program in the context of the school's philosophy. Specifically, the student is assisted in the acquisition of skills and work experience needed to be successful in mathematically-oriented college courses such as physics, computer design, chemistry, engineering, etc.

Science:
The Science Department offers a comprehensive curriculum which adequately prepares students for college-level courses. The courses offered are Biology, AP Biology, Physics, Physics Honors, Chemistry, Pre AP Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and Earth and Space.

History:
The History department realizes that history is much more than names, dates, and battles.Emphasis is placed on the development of ideas and the analysis of historical trends. The department offers United States History, World History, Economics, Civics, American Government, History of World War II, and World Geography.

Foreign Languages and ESL:
The Academy presently offers three years of Spanish, two years of Latin, and an English as a second language (ESL) course. Each student is required to take two years of the same foreign language. The foreign language department hopes, in the near future, to offer a fourth year of Spanish, an additional foreign language, and a summer Spanish immersion program with studies abroad.

Visual Arts:

The objectives of the Visual Arts program are to use the language of visual art to articulate an understanding of visual art and design experiences, to transfer the learning to other disciplines, and to project those concepts to their life-long learning. Each student will assemble a portfolio of his work and prepare and present his work in an exhibit/display format.

Music:

The Subiaco Music Department is composed of two areas: Instrumental Music and Choral Music. The department has goals and objectives that seek to support and foster a sense of respect, support, work ethic, and Christian values through all of its endeavors.

Located in the foothills of the beautiful Ozark Mountains between Gentry and Siloam Springs in Benton County in Northwest Arkansas, Ozark Adventist Academy is a co-educational boarding high school for Grades 9-12 with a warm, friendly, and inviting atmosphere.

OAA is owned and operated by the Arkansas-Louisiana Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and is fully accredited with the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities, and by the Arkansas Nonpublic Schools Accrediting Association.

We offer a college preparatory curriculum with SAT, ACT, Honors and Advanced Placment courses as well as a scholarship program. Choosing Ozark Adventist Academy for boarding school years is a choice of belonging to a school family with a special mission and commitment.

Boarding students live in the residence hall on campus with separate dormitories for boys and girls. Usually a student occupies a room with one other student. Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI)

Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Tennessee and across the United States.

In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).

TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.

We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.

With a passion for helping young people in crisis, our clinical, educational, and operations staff are among the best in the country.

We are a small program (40 students) which means that we are able to provide a truly unique and customized approach for every student.

Typically our on site student to staff ratio is 5:1. The average stay at our residential treatment center is 12 months.

We create a customized program for each student that requires a minimum of 3 months. However, best results for lasting success are realized through 6+ months of treatment.

TWAI graduates average a 3.5 GPA. It is common for a student to complete 1.5 years of course work in 1 year.
Change Academy Lake of the Ozarks

Change Academy Lake of the Ozarks (CALO), located in Lake Ozark, Missouri, is a specialized adolescent residential treatment setting for boys & girls (ages 12-18). At CALO, we with work a small window of student issues focusing specifically on issues of emotion, attachment and trauma.

At CALO, relationships are the primary change agent. All treatment is connected to and motivated by relationships. Relationships with family, CALO staff, and CALO peers are what drive change.

Transferable Attachment through the care of purebred Golden Retrievers is a key, cutting-edge treatment aspect of our program. Where clinically appropriate, students have the opportunity to “foster and/or adopt” a Golden Retriever. All interactions with this canine are used therapeutically.

CALO is accredited by the Joint Commission through their Behavioral Healthcare Accreditation Program. and licensed by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Children's Division as a residential provider.

CALO is an approved private agency through Missouri's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Located on 200 acres in Independence (14 miles East of Kansas City), Missouri, Shelterwood is a licensed residential teen treatment facility offering individual, group, and family therapy along with an accredited school and mentorship program.

Our program for teens is a year-long journey which fosters dynamic academic growth through small class sizes, small group discussions, and qualified teachers.

We treat struggling adolescents that may be spiraling out of control and showing signs of: low self-esteem, depression and suicidal thoughts; abuse, anger, oppositional defiance or anxiety; drug and alcohol abuse, addictions or rebelliousness; academic challenges, learning difficulties and school suspensions; low motivation, manipulation, and poor peer choices; family conflict and substance abuse; Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Agape Boarding School, Stockton
Courses / Programs
Located in Stockton, in Cedar County, southwest Missouri, Agape Boarding School is a non-profit boarding school for troubled and at risk boys in Grades 6-12 that specializes in a college preparatory program with AP courses, SAT and ACT along with a behavior modification program.

For the young man whose relationship has been destroyed with his parents, we help to repair and rebuild that relationship.

Instead of the student quitting or resorting to the "easy" solution, the staff at Agape work with these young men in order that they may find the right answers to their problems. The minimum stay in twelve months. We are accredited by the State of Missouri.

Students live in our new four-story dormitory building with 32 completely private shower stalls, bathroom facilities to accommodate 28 students at a time, and 160 individual student closet areas.

We have recently added a brand new basketball gymnasium with two separate workout areas. For outdoor events Agape has a swimming pool and a multi-use field with a baseball diamond in the southeast section. Students are able to play intramural flag football, soccer, and baseball during free time.
