Bath Spa University, Bath:
Our English Language School offers courses to help prepare you for university study as well as offering general English classes all year round. Bath Spa University offers students the opportunity to improve their English language skills in the four areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

General English Courses
Duration: minimum 2 weeks, maximum 47 weeks, from September to June
Hours per week: 21 or 15
Special Features: Flexible entry - can be combined with Summer Courses. IELTS Option available 4 hours per week during period March to July
Class size: maximum 12 students;

All students receive a Certificate of Attendance. Homestay accommodation with a local host family is available and the university organises a social programme. You must be aged 18 or over to apply for this course. Unfortunately, we cannot accept beginners. You must be at least elementary level or above.

English Language Summer School
Duration: minimum 2 weeks, maximum 6 weeks
Hours per week: 21 or 15 hours
Class size: maximum 12 students
Special Features: Flexibility - you can join the course for two weeks or more. If you want to have a break mid-course to travel or visit friends you can. For example, 2 weeks study, then one week break, one week further study and you only pay for three weeks - no extra fees, no money lost

All students receive a Certificate of Attendance. Accommodation options available are homestay and campus accommodation. Single study-bedroom, self-catering accommodation is available for Summer School students.

Social Programme: two half day visits/activities, one evening activity, one full day excursion per week. Our social programme includes all admissions and transport.
