Rossall Summer School:
Rossall Summer School provides an intensive English language summer programme combined with fun activities and cultural excursions, as well as pre-Sixth Form Maths courses, IB Diploma Preparation, and fun recreational summer courses for kids among others. Rossall is 20 minutes north of Blackpool airport and one hour north of both Manchester and Liverpool international airports. Our summer school runs for 8 weeks during the summer holidays on our stunning coastal campus with plenty of space to explore. We recommend that each pupil stays for a minimum of two weeks. We teach in small classes (no more than 10 students per class) ensuring each pupil receives individual attention.

About Us:

Students follow an intensive English language programme to develop the skills they need to communicate effectively, and for those considering studying in the UK, there is also the option of studying a choice of academic subjects to develop technical knowledge and vocabulary.

Small classes are run by Rossall's own full-time staff and you will receive a full academic report and certificate of attendance. This is an ideal preparation for UK boarding schools. Students will live in comfortable single or double rooms, and will be supervised 24 hours a day by our caring staff. Students will eat great food in our "Harry Potter" style dining hall.

Summer School Programmes:
- Intensive English language summer programme for ages 11 - 17 years: 
Duration: 1 - 8 week courses (2 weeks minimum recommended)

- Recreational programme suitable for children of all ages:  After a morning of studying, pupils can enjoy an afternoon of sport and activities, and in the evenings there will be a social programme designed to build friendships.

- Pre-Sixth Form maths course:  This can be taken as a separate course or in tandem with the summer school course.

- Pre-Sixth Form intensive mathematics course:  This was designed by Rossall School for students wishing to study maths at Sixth Form either on the A-Level or I.B. Diploma course.

Residential Life:
Rossall Summer School provides comfortable single or double rooms in our supervised boarding houses. There is a separate house for boys and a separate house for girls. Each house contains TV, DVD player, kitchenette for making snacks and drinks, table games facilities and computers with internet access.

Location and Facilities:
Rossall Summer School is located on a 160 acre site, ideally situated on the picturesque coastland of the North West of England. The spacious campus encompasses extensive sports and recreation facilities which include an indoor climbing wall, heated 25m indoor swimming pool, Astronomy and Space Science Centre and restaurant. Another great advantage of Rossall's location is its proximity to the region's many cultural and tourist attractions.
