We offer a broad array of engaging French language programs in Seattle and the Puget Sound area of Washington State. The Alliance Française de Seattle is located on the ground floor of Historic Seattle's beautiful Good Shepherd Center, midway between the main transit routes of I-5 and Route 99. We are surrounded by beautiful grounds that include the lovely organic gardens of Seattle Tilth. There are two large free parking lots as well as abundant free on-street parking.

Washington Academy of Languages in Seattle is a non-profit language school that offers day and evening world language classes to adults. We offer Russian courses that may be taken for 4 quarter units of university credit. In our Russian classes Russian is the medium of instruction so that participants become used to hearing the language spoken at natural speeds and continually work on developing fluency. Russian is an East Slavic language and is spoken in regional dialects. The modern dialect of Moscow is used in the Washington Academy of Languages' instructional programs. Because Russian has a different alphabet, it takes more time to master than does, for example, a Romance language.

Nuovo Centro Italiano is an Italian language resource center in Seattle, Washington focusing exclusively on Italian language instruction, translation and consultation. The staff is comprised of highly experienced native speakers who share many years of working as intercultural facilitators helping people in Washington State as well as Italy. We are a small, independent operation specializing in matters related to the Italian language. Our office is centrally located in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood on 15th Avenue East, a block north of Group Health hospital, near Volunteer Park.
