Phorms Education Campus München:
Phorms Education in Munich in the Bavarian region of Southern Germany offers whole-day bilingual education in German and English for nursery school, primary school and secondary school. Our private school is housed in a wonderful building in the Bogenhausen district of Munich.
Our aim is to enrich the educational system by providing bilingual and high-quality schools. We work in conjunction with local authorities, educational providers and companies to structure them in the form of networked living environments.
Our private schools are run within local school providers, organised as non-profit organisations. Phorms Management AG provides assistance in establishing locations as well as helping with the recruitment of teaching staff and with infrastructure development.
Our investors are social entrepreneurs who combine the non-profit status of our institutions with the delivery of cost-effectiveness. Their goal is to implement an innovative school concept and to make a contribution towards the achievement of diversity within the educational system. Our success is measured by the satisfaction of our students and parents.
Our methodology and concept have been inspired by progressive educational approaches and international teaching methods. We are not allied to any particular religious denomination. The Phorms idea opposes any form of fanaticism, discrimination or intolerance.
We offer whole-day bilingual education in German and English for:
- Nursery School
- Primary School
- Secondary School
We place great value in offering our students individual and intensive support. This constitutes the essential basis for successful educational progress. We have wide-ranging provision and targeted project work in place to motivate our students in the discovery and further development of their talents. Our teachers also encourage the children to take part in extra-curricular activities such as music, Olympics training and reading competitions as well as the “Children’s University” operated by Munich University. We support our grammar school students by providing an individual mentoring programme.
Alongside this individual activities, we also attach great importance to the comprehensive bilingual education the children receive. Our students become fully fluent in both German and English. A second foreign language is also mandatory at secondary school, where students choose either French or Latin. Students of grade 8 may opt to take Spanish as a third foreign language or choose Economics and Business Informatics.
Our campus is located in the direct vicinity of the English Garden in the Bogenhausen district of Munich opposite the historic Parish Church of St. George. Bogenhausen has featured extensive villa-style buildings and residential blocks since the turn of the twentieth century.
Our school building forms part of this tradition and offers a large number of attractive and lovingly created details such as a porter’s lodge where we greet the children individually each day, an impressive reception hall with spiral staircase and redbrick style architecture with a whole host of interior decorative elements.
A large grassed area with trees and bushes is located at the rear of the building. These well cared for and idyllic surroundings provide the ideal conditions for concentrated and relaxed learning.
