Torre Di Babele, Rome:
Established in 1984, Torre di Babele is an Italian language school in Rome, Italy. We offer Italian courses for students from around the world including intensive Italian courses, CILS exam preparation classes and private Italian lessons. We also offer training courses for teachers of Italian for foreigners and semester abroad programs summer programs for university students. Torre Di Babele is highly accredited and is officially authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education. We are also one of the founding members of the Association of Italian Language Schools in Italy.

Torre di Babele offers the following Italian language courses:

Intensive Italian Language Courses:
- 20 hours/week, group course
This Italian language course includes four hours of group lessons a day. Based on their level, participants can acquire a basic knowledge of the Italian language or improve and perfect the knowledge they already have.

Intensive-Plus Italian Language Courses:
- 20 hours/week, group course; 5 hours/week in mini-group (max 3 participants)
This Italian language course includes four hours of group lessons plus one additional hour in a mini group daily (max 3 participants). The mini-group offers the possibility to further pursue and perfect the material covered in the first part of the lesson. 

Middle-Term Intensive Italian Courses:
Middle term Italian courses are addressed to students who wish to remain for at least 6 to 10 weeks. Enrollment in this type of course incurs a price discount. Our middle term course is basically an intensive Italian language course which includes four group lessons a day. Based on their level, participants can acquire a basic knowledge of the Italian language or improve and perfect the knowledge they already have.

Long-Term Intensive Italian Language Courses:
- 20 hours/week, group course
This Italian language course includes four hours of group lessons a day. Based on their level, participants can acquire a basic knowledge of the Italian language or improve and perfect the knowledge they already have. Long term courses are addressed to students who wish to remain for more than 12 weeks. 

Superintensive "A" Italian Language Courses:
- 20 hours/week, group course; 5 hours/week, individual lessons
This Italian language course includes four hours of group lessons plus one hour of individual Italian lessons daily. The individual lesson offers the chance to personalize the material and the program of the rest of the course.

Superintensive "B" Italian Language Courses:
- 20 hours/week, group course; 10 hours/week, individual lessons
This Italian language course includes four hours of group lessons plus 2 hours of individual lessons daily. It has the same structure as the Superintensive "A" but the two hours of individual lessons allow students to reach specific learning goals more quickly. 

Preparatory Course For C.I.L.S Exam:
The Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera (Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language) certificate is proof of your proficiency in the Italian language and is a requirement for the admission of international students to universities or colleges in Italy. Whether you wish to study or work in Italy, the CILS certificate is essential. Our Italian language school is an authorized examination centre for the CILS exam. We organize specially-designed preparatory courses for the CILS exam, taught by highly qualified teachers who specialize in this area. The CILS preparatory course can be taken as a group class or as private lessons. The individual courses are available at any time during the year.

Non-Intensive Italian Language Courses:
- 4 hours/week, group course, available Oct-June
These Italian language courses are designed for people staying in Rome for longer periods of time, and consist of two-hour lessons held twice a week in the morning, afternoon or evening. Non-intensive Italian courses are available from October to June.

Private Italian Lessons:
- Hours based on students needs
The school offers individual courses that cater perfectly to personal and professional needs at all linguistic levels. Made-to-measure programs are constructed around students' specific needs and are based on the pace and rhythm of their learning ability.

Italian for Seniors (50+):
- 20 hours/week, group course; Specific Italian culture program.
Vacation/study for participants of the age of 50 and up. This type of course offers the chance to combine the study of Italian with a pleasant and interesting holiday in Italy. A rich cultural program goes along with the courses.

Italian Language Courses for Groups:

The Italian language school "Torre di Babele" offers special Italian courses for groups of high school and university students, and also for company employees. These courses offer not only the study of the Italian language in Italy but also a wide range of cultural activities which takes account of the specific requests and interests of the course participants.

Italian & Design Course:
In collaboration with the design school IED Rome, we offer a three-week, intensive Italian language course in Rome for lovers of design, fashion, film, graphic arts and photography. This is a full immersion course in Italian language and style called "Language and Design Experience: Design Speaks Italian". A rich and varied cultural program is also offered alongside the Italian language and design classes.

Italian Cooking Courses:
We also offer Italian cooking courses which can be taken on their own or can be combined with our Italian language courses. We offer two types of Italian cookery courses - Professional Italian Cooking Courses for those who are interested in a professional career in the culinary industry and Italian Cooking Courses For Non-Professionals which are designed for amateur cooks who love Italian food.
