Solemar-Sicilia Language School in Sicily has been working successfully for more than 19 years aiming at offering highly qualified Italian courses in a friendly atmosphere at favourable prices. Our students stay in very charming holiday houses in a small bay about 15 km from Palermo. We have two Italian schools in Sicily, one in Aspra / Mongerbino, and one in Cefalu. As we enjoy a pleasant climate all year round, it is possible to have a relaxing beach and a stunning culture holiday together.

The Intensive Italian Course
By booking an "intensive" Italian course (20 lessons of 45 min. divided into 4 lessons a day), beginners, after a two weeks course , will have at their disposal a wide vocabulary and an excellent grammar background on which, besides communicating, they can use to build up a serious study of the Italian language. Students with a basic knowledge of the Italian language can enrich their vocabulary and learn a lot more about this wonderful language. Advanced level students such as Italian teachers, as L2, have the opportunity to attend a course which will enable them to practice their language skills with our highly qualified teachers and receive a professional certificate at the end of the course.

The Personal Italian Course
Taking the '"Intensive" course + 1 individual, personalized lesson unit per day " is an even better way to learn Italian .
The results, reached by attending the "intensive" course, are further consolidated during the 10 extra private lessons. During the one-to-one lesson, the student has the opportunity to practice the vocabulary and the grammar structures they have learned during the group lessons. Students can have their lessons personalized further, by expressing their needs to their teacher who will be happy to adjust each lesson accordingly.

The Business Italian Course
6 lessons of 45 min. per day . This course is for all those who, for work or personal reasons, have decided to learn Italian very quickly, without missing out on the advantages of attending dynamic group lessons. Our teachers work together as a team in order to offer the best lessons possible in a relaxing atmosphere.

"One-to-one" or "one-to-two"
This kind of Italian language course is tailored to your specific needs and you can use it to further develop your general Italian skills. You can also choose to study specialised language areas, such as Italian for tourism, for art, for cooking, for literature etc.

The length of the course in terms of hours can be decided by students when they fill in the enrollment form. This kind of course is also suitable for children.

"Learning on the job"
This is an opportunity for students who would like to know more about south Italy's working world. Students can achieve their goal by working for a period as an apprentice. Students will also attend a regular language course, focused on basic Italian business expressions and sentences. SET UP: 4 week Italian course (4 hrs/day + 1 hr one-to-one lesson per day). The course will be completed by a 4 week apprenticeship in a firm or an office or service center.You can always find a member of the school nearby in case of need.

In your one-to-one lesson you will develop the required business language as well as the contents regarding your future working sector.

This is a wonderful combination of everyday spoken and business Italian language.
