Student Testimonials:

Image of English-speaking Boarding School in Italy•  "I don’t think there is anywhere else in the world where a person can learn so much about themselves in less then a year, or see so much of Italy while still attending high school. Because of CCI I now know that the things that scare us the most, the things that require the biggest leap of faith, are the most rewarding and unforgettable".
Meredyth

•  "My two years at CCI have truly been the experience of a lifetime. No one is cast into the shadows at CCI not only because it is a small school, but because there is opportunity for everyone to do things that can’t be done at bigger schools. Take care CCI".
Kay

•  "Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have had such an amazing experience and I feel that I am a better person simply from having attended this wonderful school.  I have walked away with lifelong friendships, an unparalleled education (both personal and academic), and I feel prepared to conquer the world".
Fraser

School and Residence Life:

• CCI Students are separated into either boys or girls residences as both groups are provided the opportunity to bond with their classmates in the space where life long friendships are first forged.

• Italian and Canadian residence dons, who both live in the residences, act as cultural liaisons for the students and work closely together to provide 24- hour supervision.

• Our students live together, travel together and learn together. They are constantly learning about each other’s culture and customs. It is easy for our students to naturally form life long friendships with students from all over the world as a result.

Location:

Courses / Programs
Located in the heart of Rome, Lazio, in central-western Italy, Rome International School is a private international school providing an international education for children in nursery to grade 13. With this is mind we offer the early, primary, middle years and International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Students may still follow the two year British National Curriculum GCSE course before taking the IB Diploma program.

Although we firmly consider ourselves an international school, we never forget the language and culture of our host country and appreciate that many of our families still require the guarantee of an excellent preparation for the Italian state exam at the end of Grade 9 (Terza media). For this reason, students receive ample time for Italian lessons in language. Non-Italian students will study and learn to appreciate the Italian language and culture through a parallel course of instruction with our IAL teacher. Students taking a third foreign language may have the opportunity to sit external exams in the secondary school.
