Michelle Danner Los Angeles Acting Studio:
Located in Santa Monica, in Western Los Angeles County CA, The Michelle Danner Los Angeles Acting School offers a wide array of acting classes and workshops that are geared for actors of all ages and levels. Actors are encouraged to raise the bar and work to their full potential. Our mission is to provide a creative home to a community of passionate actors. Our actors are able to master the fundamentals and develop their craft by working on diverse material, honing their skills both on-camera and on-stage. We welcome all eager and enthusiastic students and offer a professional education for actors in all stages of their careers.

Edgemar Center for the Arts serves as collaborative rehearsal and performance space open to artists of all disciplines and experience levels. It is a space in which original and classical theater productions, dance performances, visual arts and films works are performed. ECA believes in nurturing high level independent, experimental, and student works in various stages of development and is a collaborative workspace for artists of all kinds.

In the year 2000 Michelle Danner and Larry Moss founded Edgemar Center for the Arts, a two theatre and art gallery complex. The Larry Moss Studio has been housed at Edgemar since the cutting of the ribbon in 2002 and has flourished and grown into what is now The Michelle Danner Acting Studio.

At The Michelle Danner Acting Studio, theatre, dance, music, film, and visual arts come together in one place. Students and seasoned professionals perform side-by-side. We provide a physical environment that nurtures the collaboration between writers, directors, actors, musicians, dancers, and visual artists. Because our focus is on the creative process, our classes and productions actively mix together people of all ages and levels of experience to create an environment of learning.

Our student list has included Catherine Bell, Gerard Butler, Common,Penelope Cruz, Justin Chatwin, Marcia Cross, Zooey Deschanel, Rob Estes, Isla Fisher, Rick Fox, James Franco,Salma Hayek, Sally Kellerman, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Christian Slater, Gabrielle Union, Justine Waddell and numerous others. She teaches internationally in Europe, Toronto, Vancouver, Dubai, Los Angeles and New York.

Our techniques emcompass Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Adler, Uta Hagen, Chekhov, & the Stanislavsky Technique.
