The first is to cap a Bachelor of Commerce degree with the skills and knowledge required to operate at a more senior level in the business environment. The second is to provide an academic bridge to further study at Master's level.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning:
The purpose of this qualification is to equip students with the expert knowledge and professional skills required by practitioners in the financial planning sector. Students will be competent to provide financial planning services to a wide range of individual and corporate clients. Milpark Business School’s Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning addresses the educational requirements for the designation of Certified Financial Planner®, awarded by the Financial Planning Institute of South Africa.
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom):
The purpose of the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree is to provide a broad but solid educational foundation to students in the field of commerce, including various key discipline areas such as business management, accounting and law. The qualification has been designed to provide the knowledge base, practical competence and application skills that would enable students either to enter the labour market or to pursue further studies in this field. As an alternative to a general commerce major, students may select from different specialisations: Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Banking, Investment Management and Financial Planning
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA):
The BBA is designed to offer a well-balanced exposure to the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to operate effectively in a general management environment or as a foundation for postgraduate studies in Business Administration or related areas. In order to set a broad foundation for a conceptual and functional understanding of management issues, this qualification offers three majors, namely, Business Management, Marketing and Human Resources Management.
