Located 80 miles north of Jackson, Mississippi, French Camp Academy (FCA) is a private, Christian coeducational boarding school for children from 1st to 12th Grades. Check us out!

About Us:

Established in 1885, we are accredited through the Mississippi Department of Education.

FCA helps families and young people from all over the country who may or may not be in some type of crisis, but need a supportive atmosphere with plenty of mentors to help overcome personal or family setbacks or who simply need a boarding school education.

Although FCA is not considered a therapeutic boarding school, it just may be the place that you are looking for if your child or teen is in need of an affordable and alternative Mississippi boarding school.

Our Students:
Our students may be experiencing problems at school, in the neighborhood, or even at home. Families are impacted by a variety of stressors: single parenting, substance abuse, divorce or death of a parent, and many others.

Our students come to us with feelings of anger, lack of discipline, unworthiness, fear of abandonment, academic failures, or learning disabilities. They may be struggling in school and need extra help and tutoring. The common thread is that these young people are in situations that are unhealthy for them and they need a stable environment. We provide a place to help heal those hurts.

Our Goals:

Goals?  FCA has lots of them for young people!  Academically, we stretch students to the next level.  Spiritually, we present life changing opportunities to worship and praise God.  Vocationally, we train students toward embracing a strong work ethic. Skills and talents are developed and honed.  Preparation for college is deliberately made.  Lots of mentoring.  Most importantly, a Christian foundation is provided on which to build a successful life.

French Camp Academy offers:
- A foundation for successful living built on Godly principles
- A retreat from difficult circumstances
- Quality academics taught by Christ-centered, accredited teachers
- Consistent, loving guidance for moral, emotional, and spiritual well being
