Educational Programs for 1-12 Students:
The educational program at FCA has a strong Christian emphasis and is approved by the Mississippi State Department of Education. It includes academic classes, vocational training, radio communication skills, an observatory, a full sports program, and an active music and arts program for Grades 7-12. We provide a 15:1 student/teacher ratio in our classrooms.

Over 90% of our graduates go on to higher education. Extra help and tutoring are offered to any student that needs it. Kindergarten through eighth-grade boarding students attend French Camp Elementary School, located across the street from French Camp Academy.

Course Offerings:
The following courses are taught at French Camp Academy by certified teachers who seek to integrate faith and learning in the classroom.

- Worship: Because spiritual, emotional, and social development are essential to mature decision making, students participate in daily family-style devotions in the homes, weekly worship services on Sunday mornings and evenings, and mentoring and counseling opportunities as desired.

Further Programs:
- Full athletic program (football, cheerleading, baseball, softball, basketball, track and field, cross country and tennis.
- Equestrian activities, music and the arts and other extra curricular activities abound!
- Work Programs: Staff members work with students on campus 10 – 15 hours per week to develop solid work habits and an attitude of serving others, in areas such as horsemanship, radio broadcasting, grounds/landscaping, pottery, office and retail management, graphic design and more.

Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI)

Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Mississippi and across the United States.

In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).

TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.

We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.

With a passion for helping young people in crisis, our clinical, educational, and operations staff are among the best in the country.

We are a small program (40 students) which means that we are able to provide a truly unique and customized approach for every student.

Typically our on site student to staff ratio is 5:1. The average stay at our residential treatment center is 12 months.

We create a customized program for each student that requires a minimum of 3 months. However, best results for lasting success are realized through 6+ months of treatment.

TWAI graduates average a 3.5 GPA. It is common for a student to complete 1.5 years of course work in 1 year.
St. Stanislaus College Preparatory

St. Stanislaus College Preparatory, founded in 1854, is a private Catholic school located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast 50 miles east of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Operated by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, the school specializes in building character and helping young men in Grades 7-12 develop to their full potential and become happy, self-confident, well-educated adults.

St. Stanislaus is one of the largest Catholic resident high schools for boys in the United States. Over the years, students from 52 countries and 42 states have profited from the rich education and character building offered by St. Stanislaus.

This diversity promotes a heightened awareness of each student's value and provides opportunities for appreciation of other cultures and for lasting friendships with students from other countries. 98 percent of our senior class will go on to study at the college level.

Lyman Ward Military Academy

Located in Camp Hill, Tallapoosa County AL (part of the Alexander City Micropolitan Statistical Area), Lyman Ward Military Academy (LWMA) is a private boarding military school for boys that offers a college-preparatory diploma consisting of credits gained from our Junior Cadets (Grades 6-8) and Senior Cadets (Grades 9-12) programs.

Cadets take the ACT, SAT, PSAT, PLAN, ASVAB, and Stanford Achievement Tests as appropriate to their grade level, and LWMA offers Advanced Placement (AP) classes in several academic disciplines.

In keeping with the requirements of the State of Alabama and our own high standards, students are required to have four years of English, Math, History and Science. Further courses are offered as electives.

Using the college-style Block/Quarter System, the normal student load for Senior School (Grades 9-12) consists of eight courses per year. Junior School (Grades 6-8) courses are taken for the full school year, with a usual class load of seven classes.

Saving Youth Foundation, Mobile
Courses / Programs
Saving Youth Foundation (SYF) is a Christian boarding school in Mobile, Alabama. Run by former military men and women, we provide a safe home environment for troubled boys and girls ages 10-18 who have lost sight of a clear and positive future.

We teach kids and teens who are struggling with anger management, depression, drug abuse, eating disorders, or conditions such as ADD, ADHD, ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder) among others.

SYF has an 80% pass/ fail rate with fully-accredited academics. We use the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E) in home school module. A student at SYF can receive a high school diploma. We are physically active with the kids and do things like running, marching and drills. The boys and girls facility are completely separated.

We are faith-based, designed to instill integrity, accountability, responsibility, and character while providing the teen girl or boy behavioral counseling and a quality education. In our residential and academic program, many will learn to reach for their highest potential while being given the tools and education to do so. We can accept tuition rates and low as $2,000 per month.
