By offering a challenging college preparatory curriculum with extensive college prep courses ACT and SAT and a wide range of honors and advanced placement courses we prepare our students for life at college and in the outer world. Courses, programs and activities are designed to help students develop spiritually, academically, emotionally, socially, morally and physically. Activities:

Although academic achievement is the primary goal of a high school, the St. John’s Prep community recognizes the importance of a solid and cultural development of the student. A wide-range of athletic and extra-cunicular activities are offered at the Prep. Interscholastic sports are offered on the Freshmen, Junior Varsity and Varsity Levels.

An intramural sports program with floor hockey, handball, basketball, ping-pong, touch football and volleyball as well asdance clubs, step-teams, cheerleading and weight and fitness clubs offer the student body wholesome recreation.

Twin Parks Montessori Schools

Twin Parks Montessori (Central Park Montessori, Park West Montessori and Riverside Montessori), located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City, are accredited Montessori Schools offering programs for children ages 3-12 months, 12-18 months, and 24-32 months. CP Kids is a dynamic early childhood learning center in Manhattan, NYC, offering child care services and preschool education. CP Kids offers CP Infants (ages 3-15 months), CP Toddlers (ages 16 months to 2 years and 11 months) and CP Preschoolers (ages 3 to 5 years). Parents may enroll their children for 2, 3 or 5 days per week in our School Day and Extended Day programs.

We offer families a warm, nurturing and loving second home for their children. Experienced teachers lead fun, active, hands-on learning activities while teaching important socialization skills. Located in Glendale, in the west-central portion of the borough of Queens in New York City, Sacred Heart School is a private early childhood through Grade 8 Catholic school with three and four year old programs, primary, middle grades as well as junior high. We follow all New York State and Diocesan Standards in educating our children.
