EF International Language Schools, Paris:
EF Paris is a French language school providing students from around the globe with French language and cultural immersion. We offer French courses to students of all levels from beginner to advanced. Courses include intensive, basic, general French as well as exam preparation courses for the DELF / DALF exams. French Courses / Programs offered by EF Paris include:

Intensive French Course:
Make maximum progress during your stay abroad. Highly recommended for students who want to learn a language as quickly as possible for academic or professional reasons. Our highly structured syllabus will have you speaking and writing with confidence in the minimum amount of time. An EF intensive course includes 32 morning and afternoon lessons per week (total tuition time of 21 hours, 20 minutes), blending classroom and teacher guided self study in the iLab. For beginner to advanced students.

General French Course:
Gain a sound understanding of the essential disciplines of a language. The focus is on communicating clearly in every day language. This carefully structured course is designed to help you move up one level of ability every six weeks. An EF general course includes 26 weekly lessons (total tuition time of 17 hours, 20 minutes), held in the morning and afternoon, including 6 iLab sessions. For beginner to advanced students.

Basic French Course:
Combine a relaxing holiday abroad with 20 language lessons a week. You will learn all the basics of how to communicate with plenty of time left over for sightseeing, relaxing on the beach and exploring your host country. (Note: available summer only). Courses are from 2-12 weeks long.

Examination Preparation: DELF and DALF:
- Le Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française (DELF):
An exam for high intermediate students, consisting of expression of ideas and feelings, reading comprehension and practical use of the language. There is also a DELF exam for advanced students, consisting of elements of culture and civilization, as well as expression in specialised language from candidate's chosen discipline (humanities, law and economics, physical sciences, life sciences).

- Le Diplôme Approfondi en Langue Française (DALF)An exam for students at a highly advanced level. Consists of written and oral comprehension and expression in a specialized language from candidate's chosen discipline. Offered at 2 different levels, the most advanced (DALF C2) level ensure students are capable of using the language for academic and advanced level purposes. People who have passed the DALF (C1 or C2) are exempt from taking language tests for entrance into French universities.

Internship Program:
The EF internship program is suitable for intermediate - advanced students. After 4-6 weeks of English instruction you will be placed in a company matching your interest and abilities for an unpaid internship.

- A total of 50-100 hours of work experience in a local company within your chosen interest area.
- 2 internship preparation sessions to cover cv/resume writing and interviewing skills.
- 14 general language lessons to build grammar and all communication skills.
- 6 iLAB sessions at English Schools/ 4 language lab and 2 integrated video/ project work/ conversation sessions at Non-English Schools.
- 10 special interest lessons in your chosen subject.
- 1 (double lesson) listening comprehension practice lecture.
