Lake Tahoe Preparatory is a California 9th-12th grade boarding school and day school founded in 1978 to offer a combination of college preparatory learning, outdoor education, and sports opportunities in and around the Lake Tahoe area.

International Students:
International students enhance the community of Squaw Valley Academy. Through the U.S. Immigration Service, the Academy accepts nonresident international students, and we provide instruction in English as a Second Language (ESL).
Many SVA students are US citizens, and other students have come from Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Norway, Scotland, Russia, Spain, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Egypt, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
Boarding:
Three separate residential buildings accommodate students and staff on-campus at Lake Tahoe Preparatory School.
Students enjoy experiencing the outdoors in the local Tahoe National Forest and Sierra Nevada. Lake Tahoe Preparatory School academics and outdoor experiences offer students a balanced education.

Located in La Cañada Flintridge, Los Angeles County, CA, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy (FSHA) is a small, private Catholic boarding and day high school for young women in grades 9-12. Oak Grove School is a progressive, co-educational day and boarding school offering a 7-day boarding program to both American and international high school students in 7th through to 12th grade. Delphian School is a premiere, private, international, non-religious, co-educational day and boarding school in the U.S. located in the Pacific Northwest on 800 acres of Oregon's scenic Willamette Valley (about 1 hour southwest of Portland OR, and 4 hours drive south of Seattle, Washington).
