Hordle Walhampton School:
Located in Lymington, Hampshire on the south coast of England. Hordle Walhampton School is a forward-looking, independent boarding and day school for boys and girls from 2-13 years old. Day Programmes run for students from Nursery through Prep School, while our boarding programmes cater to children from ages 8-13. We offer flexible boarding arrangements to suit home and child.The boarding house is a home for our children for seven nights a week and this requires good facilities to ensure the home-from-home environment is maintained.
Academics at Hordle:
- In the Prep School there are two classes per year group and, if numbers dictate, sometimes three. We look on 16 as the optimum number per class and numbers never rise above 20.
- In Years Three, Four, and Five children are in forms of parallel ability but set for English and Maths. From Year Six the forms are streamed and children continue to be set in English and Maths. Specialist teaching is introduced gradually but, in Year Three at least, most of the teaching is by the Form Teacher.
- Children are prepared for 13+ Common Entrance and scholarships to senior Independent schools. However we are mindful that some children will leave at 11, and we prepare them for those exams, too.

Boarding Life:
Our boarding children are involved in all areas of the school. Boarders are well-represented in choirs, sports, and drama productions and on residential school trips. They are also academically successful with children gaining places and academic scholarships at prestigious schools such as Radley, Winchester, Canford and Sherborne.
Focus on Music:
The music wing contains rooms for practice and individual teaching. In addition, there is a Music Room for class teaching and rehearsal space for the Chapel Choir, school orchestra, ensembles, etc
Concerts take place at half term each term, at selected lunchtimes and on Speech Day. There is a full-time Director of Music and a full-time Assistant Director of Music who deliver the curriculum from the Nursery to Year Eight. Peripatetic music staff are employed by the school to take individual lessons: we have yet to fail in finding a teacher for a particular instrument

Moffats is a family-owned, co-educational independent day and boarding school in England that caters for the needs of boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 13. Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College is a co-educational, residential sixth-form boarding college in Loughborough in Leicestershire, Central England. One of the top colleges in the country, Welbeck offers a two-year A-level education for students wishing to pursue an engineering based career in the Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and MOD (Ministry of Defence) Civil Service.
