The house system provides stability and the fact that the houses comprise of both Boarding and Day pupils means that all of the pupils in the houses interact in every area of school life. There are six houses spread across the Christ College campus including:
Alway House:
A junior boarding and day house for boys and girls in Years 7 and 8. Moving up to a senior school can be quite a daunting experience. In Alway House we aim to provide a friendly and secure environment in which boys and girls in the first two years can develop both individually and as part of a team.
De Winton House:
Senior boarding and day houses for girls in Years 9 to 13. In 1985, after a long history as a successful boys' school, Christ College went co-educational in the Sixth Form and de Winton House was built with that purpose in mind. Then in 1995 the school started to take girls from the age of 11 and at that point de Winton changed its role, becoming home to girls from the age of 13 upwards.
Donaldson's House:
Senior boarding and day houses for girls in Years 9 to 13. In September 1998 Donaldson's became the second senior girls boarding house at Christ College. Completely refurbished to tailor the needs of the "new" inhabitants, Donaldson's provides a warm, comfortable environment in which to both work and play.
Orchard House:
Senior boarding and day houses for boys in Years 9 to 13. Orchard House is the smallest of the three senior boys boarding houses, and is located on the edge of the school campus, a few minutes’ walk from the main classroom block, the Sports Hall, and Dining Halls. There are around 45 boys in the house, predominantly boarders, and the accommodation is an eclectic mix of ancient and modern.

UWC Atlantic College is a prestigious international residential school in the UK. We are an independent, co-educational sixth form college based in the Vale of Glamorgan, a 45 minute drive from Cardiff, Wales. Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College is a co-educational, residential sixth-form boarding college in Loughborough in Leicestershire, Central England. One of the top colleges in the country, Welbeck offers a two-year A-level education for students wishing to pursue an engineering based career in the Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and MOD (Ministry of Defence) Civil Service. The college accommodates around 340 students on a superbly equipped, ultra-modern campus. The tuition is free, although parents may have to contribute towards living expenses. Once a student completes the course, they would then be committed to a career in the Army for a period of time.

Dulwich College is an academically selective independent boarding and day school for boys located in Dulwich, which lies south of the City of London only six miles from the River Thames.
