Summer Spanish Program in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Mente Argentina has designed a Spanish program for students who want to learn Spanish and get academic credit, as well as for those students who just want to learn Spanish for fun in a university environment while visiting Buenos Aires, instead of doing it at a regular Spanish School.

Our program is aimed at students with all Spanish levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Spanish conversations, Spanish grammar and culture will be covered throughout the course.

Like in all the other programs, you will have special activities (included in the program) during the week and weekends that will help you to practice your Spanish and will let you have some real Spanish training while you get to know the city in an exciting way.

On your first day in the Mente Argentina’s Summer Program you will take a placement test to verify your Spanish Level.

Barman Program in Buenos Aires (+ opt Spanish Lessons)
The program aims at teaching you to manage any kind of bar, whether in hotels, pubs, night clubs, bars, classic or modern cafés, thematic bars, or events.

- The regular program lasts 1,2 or 3 months and dates are flexible according to your availability
- The intensive program lasts 2 weeks, and both individual and group classes are available.

Since 1995, the Bartender school of Mente Argentina has become recognized due to its quality and academic excellence which have been revealed in the results obtained both by its former students and its teachers during the open flair and barman competitions.

The school provides labor exchange and internships, so if you wish to and have available time, you will be able to work as a barman all over the world.

The bartender instructors are all graduates who have international expertise; thus, the classes can be delivered in English.

Cooking Program in Buenos Aires
The Argentine cuisine differs from the rest of Latin America cuisine mainly because of its European origins.

With Italian and Spanish cuisine as reference, plus the native ethnic group contributions, the Argentine cuisine stands out mainly for its barbecue, roast beef, turnovers, breaded meat and the worldwide famous dulce de leche (sort of caramel).

The aim of the program is to teach typical South American dishes with new and modern cooking, presentation and taste combination techniques and has been designed for amateurs and professionals who wish to enlarge their knowledge and interest in our cuisine. Prior knowledge on the subject is not required.

- The regular cooking program lasts 1,2 or 3 month. In this program you will cook South American dishes in detail as well as light dishes, red meat, cakes and desserts.

- The intensive cooking program lasts 2 weeks. You will learn the basic contents of South American and international cuisines.

Some of the dishes that will be taught during the course are the following:
* Barbecue
* Turnovers
* Roast beef a la criolla (garnished with red and green pepper, onion, garlic and oil)
* Milanesa a la napolitana (Breaded meat topped with melted cheese, ham, oregano and egg) Among others.

DJ Program in Buenos Aires
The program aims both at amateurs and those who wish to broaden their knowledge. The objective of the program is to develop theoretical and practical skills in order to achieve a good level of mix and understanding of electronic music.

You will learn to mix with CDs and vinyl, as well as to assemble sets in your box to play when it’s time to give your own show.

- The regular DJ program lasts 1 month and classes are delivered twice a week.
- The intensive DJ program lasts 2 weeks and both individual and group classes are available.

Both programs include 3 hours a week of practice in the school boxes so that you start practicing and then record your next Sets.

Additionally, once the program is completed, Mente Argentina offers you the possibility to do some more practice in radio stations and events.

Mente Argentina delivers this course jointly with the most important electronic music school in South America.

The school’s premises are fitted with state-of-the-art technology as regards equipment and rooms. Classes are delivered in reduced groups (max 9 students). Mente Argentina guarantees a fantastic experience with music.

The instructors are DJs who perform in different night clubs in Buenos Aires, where you will be invited as a member of Mente Argentina.

Photography Program in Buenos Aires
The Basic Course of Mente Argentina’s Photography School combines the teaching of techniques based on analogical and digital technologies, always focusing on creativity and motivation so that students can eventually produce images with their own personal style.

Some of the topics from the syllabus are the following:
- Introduction to basic operation of a camera: diaphragm, speed, exposure and sensitivity of the film.
- Use of reflex cameras and manual cameras (digital and analogical).
- Light and different types of lighting.
- Photometry.
- Types of lenses, filter, color and flash of the camera.
- Expressive and compositional resources.
- Analogical Photography: Different types of films. Developing of black and white films, process of copying with its different styles.
- Digital Photography: Differences between analogical and digital cameras which directly affect their use.
- Edition and basic digital touching up.

The School of Photography of Mente Argentina was founded 15 years ago with the aim of promoting photography and at the same time educating professionals with talent and creativity.

Today, with an extensive experience, the school has become one of the most important teaching centers of the country.

The classes are delivered in reduced groups and the school provides the students with all the cameras and necessary resources. In addition, students have the chance to borrow professional cameras to practice for free.

TesolMente Argentina gives you the chance to be instructed, have fun and learn in one of the most renowned tango schools in Argentina. The 3 headquarters Mente Argentina’s tango schools are located in the most exclusive neighborhoods of the city of Buenos Aires: Palermo, La Boca and Recoleta.

The instructors in change have vast experience both in Argentina and abroad. Thus, classes can be delivered in Spanish and English.

In the first class (individual) the participant will be evaluated and graded (beginner/intermediate/advanced) according to his/her prior knowledge.
