Crossing Borders Group is a language school in the Spring TX / Woodlands TX area, just north of Houston. We offer a range of language classes and immersion programs for kids of all ages in a variety of languages including Spanish, English, French, and Mandarin. Classes include Preschool and Kindergarten programs, after-school language programs, Mommy & Me classes, Dual language courses, Spring, Summer, & Winter language camps, tutoring for high school students, family courses, and more!

Want your child to be bilingual? Of course you do! The question is how! We offer both Pre-K / Preschool and Kindergarten programs.

Take advantage of your child's natural language learning ability, but remember that learning still requires a lot of exposure to the language. The most efficient way to accomplish this is by integrating language instruction into your child's education, not only as a subject of study, but a means of study.

Our students become bilingual as they learn a full preschool and kindergarten curriculum with native speaking teachers, small classes, and high expectations. Children enrolled in full-day programs spend half the day in Spanish and half the day in English, receiving a solid early education in two languages.

Why immersion? The earlier a child is introduced to a language, the more likely he/she will speak like a native. In an immersion setting the language is a means of learning not just a subject of study. Your child will learn much more this way than in a standard pre-school program which may only devote a few hours a week to Spanish.

Watch out for false or exaggerated claims! Many regular Spanish classes for kids advertise themselves as "immersion" programs, but don't offer 5-day enrollment or even full-day classes. For your child to experience true immersion and not just a Spanish class, they should participate as often as they can and for full days whenever possible.
