This gives French students with a good level of English the opportunity to develop their managerial skills while at the same time developing their language skills.
This all-English course is also available to overseas students, and there are a total of 80 international students among this year's Bachelor in International Business graduates.
The English-language option is also available on the following programs:
- Bachelor in Tourism (100% in English as of September 2011)
- MBA in Tourism Management
- Master in Management (ESC – recently EPAS accredited), currently offered in 2nd year and available to 3rd-year students as of September 2011
- Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management:
The Bachelor in Tourism Management is a management program specifically adapted to all dimensions of the tourism sector: Hospitality, recreation and leisure, creating and marketing new offers and more. Training covers all the fundamentals, while including new management approaches, and gradually leads to specialisation in a specific sector. There are many possibilities for students to practice their skills throughout the world.
At the end of this 3-year program, students can earn a double degree according to the specialisation selected:
- Bachelor awarded by the ESTHUA (University of Angers School of Tourism and Hospitality Management) or
- Bachelor in Hospitality and Tourism awarded by the ULCO (Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale)
At the end of the degree programme, students can continue their studies for two additional years by enrolling in the MBA in Tourism Management.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Tourism Management:
The MBA in Tourism Management, awarded in partnership with UQAM (University of Quebec at Montreal, Canada) combines courses in management and tourism, supervised applications in vivo, an intensive training programme, internships of up to 1 year in France or abroad, input from professionals and individualised support. It allows students to master management fundamentals and learn about a wide range of sectors in tourism. Students should be capable of adopting a global vision of professional issues and developing specific skills.
- Master's Degree in Management:
The Grande Ecole program (ESC) trains students in baccalaureate level 2 (and more) for Advanced Studies in Management and Management (Master Grade) and prepares them to become responsible managers, marked by a sense of commitment.
The Grande Ecole program of GSCM La Rochelle is particularly oriented towards the international (9 months minimum expatriation for all, mandatory three languages) and experiential (12 months compulsory internship).
