Oxford Hill English School:
Oxford Hill English School is a small, family-run English language school in Oxford, Oxfordshire in South-East England, approximately 55 miles north-west of Central London. Oxford Hill English School is open all year and provides quality English language courses for all levels for students aged 10 years and upwards from all over the world. General English Language Course:
We use a creative and varied teaching approach that caters to the needs and requirements of all our students. To ensure students receive stimulating and enjoyable lessons, we use a host of supplementary materials in addition to the course book. With the use of DVD and audio materials, the internet and authentic texts, we aim to maximise language skill development and effective communication.

Intensive English Language Courses:
The mini-group allows the tutor to focus on the immediate needs of the students whilst improving listening and speaking skills, expanding vocabulary and developing confidence. Activities range from discussions of issues and topics such as travel, film and politics through to project work based around Internet research or creating a student newsletter.

Courses include:  English for 35+, British Culture, Life Skills and One-To-One Tuition.

English Language Exam Preparation Courses:
Prepare for your exam with our experienced teachers in a dedicated exam class. 

Cambridge Exams Preparation:  Cambridge ESOL (English for Speaker of Other Language) examinations are recognised worldwide as proof of your English language ability. They can be used in applications for jobs, and in some cases, for universities. They are also a satisfying measure of personal achievement.

- The First Certificate in English (FCE) - upper intermediate:  The First Certificate in English is one of the examinations available from University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations in England. Its possession proves one's adequacy in the English language, and its successful completion means that one is able to interact socially efficiently.

- The Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) - advanced:  The Certificate in Advanced English is the advanced general English examination provided by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations in England.

- The Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) - very advanced / proficient:  The Certificate of Proficiency in English is the most advanced general English exam provided by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. The English level of those who have passed the CPE is supposed to be similar to that of a fairly educated native speaker of English.

IELTS Exam Preparation:  A good score in the (International English Language Testing System) is often a requirement for admission into UK, Australian and New Zealand universities. It is also becoming increasingly recognised internationally for universities worldwide.

Business English Language Course:
Based on an interactive approach, students participate in problem-solving tasks, case studies and business simulations such as:

- Presenting your own career, and current management issues
- Looking at aspects of a company's business, marketing and finance
- Simulated business telephone call
- Comparing working habits and cross-cultural issues
- Business terminologies and new vocabulary taught

Additionally:
School Activities Programme 2011:  We organise a full social programme for all our courses. This includes Oxford Walking Tour, Punting, Swimming, Woodstock & Blenheim, Art: Leather Crafts (make a key ring), London Sights (optional), Natural History Museum, Oxford Castle, Rounders in the Park, Drama: Stunt Combat and Brighton / Thorpe Park (optional).
