Located in the County of Kent, just east of London, Rochester Independent College (RIC) is a progressive alternative to conventional secondary education with a happily distinctive ethos. Accepting day students from the age of 11 and boarders from 16, the focus is on exam success in a lively, supportive and informal atmosphere. Students are encouraged to be themselves and achieve exam results that often exceed their expectations.
The College has an atmosphere closer to university than school. About 65 of the College's 280 students are boarders. Our Halls combine the informality of a university residence with the supervision and pastoral support appropriate for young adults.

Aysgarth is one of the country’s leading prep schools for boys, incorporating a full boarding focused, boys’ Prep School for 8-13 year olds, and a Pre Prep and Nursery Day Programme for boys and girls ages 3-8. Aysgarth School is situated in the foothills of the Yorkshire Dales, just ten minutes drive from the A1, and 50 minutes from the nearest airport, Durham Tees Valley. The Prep School, for boys ages 8-13, is the only all-boys boarding and day prep school in the north of England. We are passionate about the benefits that boarding provides. Located in Turners Hill, West Sussex, just 50 km from London, Worth School is a Benedictine (Catholic) boarding and day school catering for boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 18. Boarding Programmes are available for boys from Year 7 (age 11) upwards, and for girls as of Year 9 (age 13).
