TEFL English Teacher Training Certificate Course:
Duration: 5 weeks / 120 Hours

A typical five-week onsite course features a combination of academic instruction, role playing and hands-on teaching with students.

- Prepare and teach lessons with full support of a learning mentor Use and create useful and innovative teaching materials.

Teaching Skills:
These are essential to every teacher: Classroom management, personality and language assessments, curriculum development, and lesson planning.

Language Acquisition:
The components of language learning will be covered: Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. We will look at what you need to consider when teaching these skills and explore a variety of interesting ways to help your students succeed in these areas.

Class Content:
Teaching materials and resources are a remarkably important part of our TEFL Course. Finding up-to-date and interesting materials in books, newspapers and websites, as well as designing your own materials is essential to keeping your students captivated and motivated.

Teaching Practice:
Each trainee teaches a minimum of six classes which are observed by our staff. You will also attend classes as a visitor and watch experienced teachers present an English class.

Once you have completed your course with TEFL Madrid Academy you automatically become part of our extended family, which means we will share with you resources, employment opportunities, workshops and our extended knowledge and expertise on all things Spanish.
