Located on City Road in the London Borough of Islington in North London, Hopes and Dreams Montessori Nursery School´s aim is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where your child can grow and learn through creative play. Founded in 1997 and Ofsted certified, we have an excellent reputation for a progressive and inspirational method of education for babies and children, aged from 3 months to 8 years. Our curriculum is based on the Montessori Method which believes that children learn directly from their environment and other children.

Our multi-age classrooms foster independence, our broad and stimulating curriculum encourages responsibility and respect and our dedicated team of staff help guidance at the child’s own pace.

All subjects are interwoven and the child learns at their own pace. This helps each child gain independence and confidence, and be proud of their own achievement. Montessori children are usually very adaptable. They have learned to work independently and in groups.

Since they have been encouraged to discuss their work freely with others and to make decisions from an early age, these children are problem-solvers who can make appropriate choices and manage their time well. Their good communication skills ease the way in new settings and situations.

Research has shown that the best predictor of future success is a positive sense of self-esteem. The Montessori Nursery School programmes based on self-directed, non-competitive activities, help children develop strong self-image and the confidence to face challenges and change with optimism.

Extra-Curricular Activities:
