Raffles University Iskandar (RUI) is a comprehensive, private university in Malaysia that is part of Raffles Education Corporation (REC), the largest private education group in Asia Pacific. Accredited by the Malaysian government, our campus is currently located in Johor Bahru but we will move to a new state-of-the-art campus in Iskandar Malaysia’s EduCity Zone by 2013. RUI provides high-quality master's programs and bachelor's degrees in the fields of business, education, design & arts, and social science. Our courses are taught in English to students from Malaysia and international students from around the world.

At the moment, RUI’s temporary campus is in Menara Kotaraya in Johor Bahru. Our new state-of-the-art campus will be located on a 65-acre plot of land in Iskandar Malaysia’s EduCity zone. It is a state economy that is secure and growing – and speculated to have high potential in both economic and cultural development. This strategic location, combined with the successful history of REC's programs will position students for future success as world-class professionals in a promising and vibrant environment.

Iskandar is located in the state of Johor with easy access to Singapore and around Malaysia. The Iskandar region is a new development that will soon be home to many state-of-the-art buildings. These establishments will enhance the quality of working, living, playing, and investing in the area. Living in Iskandar is very similar to lifestyles found in other Malaysian cities.
