Jacobs University Bremen:
Jacobs University Bremen is a private, independent university in Germany. Opened in 2001, Jacobs University awards bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in the natural sciences, engineering, and the humanities and social sciences. Admission to Jacobs University Bremen is highly selective and the language of instruction is English. Scholarships are available to students of any nationality. More than 1500 students from 120 countries are pursuing their studies at the university’s 34-hectare tree-lined campus in northern Bremen. International Foundation Year: 
The International Foundation Year Program at Jacobs University is designed to provide high school graduates with the skills essential for academic success. Undergraduate Degree Programs: 
The Bachelor of Science and the Bachelor of Arts Degrees prepare students for immediate employment upon graduation.
They also qualify students to continue their studies in master’s or doctoral programs. To achieve the goal of transdisciplinarity, students must participate in special courses in which two professors, one from each school, treat a topic using cross-disciplinary team teaching. Additionally, students must supplement their major studies with courses from the other school.

One of the oldest and most renowned higher education institutions in Germany, the University of Freiburg provides a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS). This is the university's first interdisciplinary, English-taught undergraduate program and the first of its kind in Germany.
