Italian Cooking Classes:
Pintadera is proud to offer Italian cooking classes in collaboration with the young Master Chef: Cristiano Andreini
of the acclaimed restaraunt, Ristorante Andreini, located in the historic center of Alghero.Time permitting, in the morning the participants of the afternoon's cooking session go to the market place together to do the shopping. In the afternoon, the cooking session begins with a 30 minute classroom period where the menu of the day is studied with discussions of ingredients, cooking techniques, and kitchen strategies. Thereafter, the class proceeds to Trattoria Al Refettorio, a restaraunt immediately below the school, where the meals are cooked under the Chef's careful eye and with his personable encouragement.
Students will prepare a simple "Sugo al Pomodoro" or a "Pesto of garlic and basil" where Chef Cristiano will demonstrate beforehand the importance and skill of selecting genuine fresh native products. Traditional entree selections such as "Ossobuco con Risotto alla Milanese" and "Lasagna al Forno" with traditional desserts such as "Tiramisu" will be demonstrated.
The class size is strictly limited to 6 students and class menus are influenced according to student tastes and preferences. After the meal is cooked, the students and Chef sit down together to enjoy their dishes.

English Studio offers a various range of Italian one-to-one or small group courses, which combine Italian language teaching and cultural itineraries around the beautiful area of Verona and Lake Garda, in the north of Italy. Our school is situated in the town of Villafranca di Verona, sourrounded by hills and countryside.The school can also help students find their accomodation, either at host families, hotels or B&B. Our teachers are qualified Italian native speakers, with experience in teaching Italian as a foreign language. Founded in 2005, L'Italiano Porticando is a family-run and friendly Italian language school in Turin, teaching exclusively the Italian language and culture to foreigners. The Centro Machiavelli was founded in 1978, and is located in the historic centre of Florence, just a stone's throw from Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio, in the area of Santo Spirito. This neighbourhood is home to artisans and artists and as it is just off the beaten tourist track, the economic and social characteristics has been left intact. The school is in Piazza Santo Spirito itself, one of the finest squares of the city.
