Italian Courses Sardinia - Italy Language School Programs in Alghero
 Centro Oltremare is located in Alghero, one of the most
beautiful sites on the Mediterranean Sea. The school is in the town
centre, near the city gardens and tourist harbour. Alghero is an
ancient town, with wonderful beaches, and a mild climate all over
the year. It is situated on the north west coast of the island of
Sardinia on a large bay of crystal clear waters. It is definitely to
be considered the touristic capital of the Coral Riviera.
Oltremare - why this name:
When travellers think about Sardinia, they
imagine white beaches and a crystal clear sea,
but our island has much more than that to offer:
it has tradition, archaeology, ancient
knowledge, oeno-gastronomy, refined craftwork,
history and religion, art and culture. These are
the reasons why we have chosen this name:
Oltremare (Beyond the sea). Oltremare, because
our school, despite its location in one of the
most beautiful corners of the Mediterranean Sea,
wants to offer something that goes beyond the
typical Italian language course, beyond the
traditional holiday that consists of only beach
umbrellas and deck chairs. Furthermore we have
chosen this name because we reckon that Sardinia
has a very fascinating culture that is not very
well-known and that is so different from that of
any other region of Italy and Europe.Courses
