Atlantic College, an Independent International Sixth Form College at St Donats Castle, Glamorgan Vale, a 45-minute drive from Cardiff in Wales, was one of the first colleges in the world and first in UK to follow an international curriculum. Atlantic College continues to lead the way in pioneering new options for the broad-ranging International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Atlantic College admits 170 students a year, aged 16 to 18, from more than 75 countries, with the aim of fostering respect for diverse cultural, social and religious backgrounds. Students from diverse nationalities live together for two years in South Wales, and study General Contact Pagefor the International Baccalaureate Diploma, a pre-university qualification which was piloted at the College.

An Atlantic College education is a rigorous experience that equips students socially, academically, philosophically and morally for their journey through life. High academic standards, a strong emphasis on community service and a wide range of cultural and outdoor activities are all part of the challenge and excitement of an Atlantic College education. In addition to community service, students also enjoy a wide range of extracurricular activities, lectures and debates that help to develop lively, critical and informed minds. Weekly music concerts, national cultural evenings, visiting speakers, and student debates on international issues enrich the experience and reflect the diverse cultures represented at the College.

While most leave to pursue degrees in some of the world's most respected universities, Atlantic College prepares students to embark on life as emotionally mature and globally aware adults, ready to make a positive difference in their future communities.

Courses / Programs:
Boarding Programme for boys and girls 16-18 years old; Day Programme; International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme choosing from subjects such as Literature Course in Mother Tongue Language, Foreign Language, Humanities, Natural Sciences, Art, Music or Theatre Arts; Integrated Development Programme; Extra-Curricular Activity Programme.
