Summer Art Therapy Course in Spain / Europe
Metàfora, Barcelona:
Metàfora is an international art school for adult students, situated in an old factory building in the centre of Barcelona, on the northeast Mediterranean coast in Spain. We provide a 2-week Summer Art Therapy course (taught entirely in English) to students from around the world. For more than 10 years, Metàfora has successfully run 2-week summer courses and year-long courses in Studio Arts (the International Workshop), as well as several programs in Art Therapy.

Summer Intensive Art Therapy Course:

This course is designed as a series of lectures and workshops, with four different activities:
- Seminars
- Workshops
- Experiential Art Therapy Groups
- Large Group Classes
We also provide a 2-week summer art course taught in Spanish as well as year-round academic Art Therapy / Contemporary Art programs.
Student Profile for our Summer Program:
This introductory course is designed for professionals and students from all creative fields, and the general profile of our participants is that of a student or professional coming from Fine Arts, Psychology, Special Education.
In addition, we have many participants from other helping professions or creative backgrounds.
The minimum age for participants is 19, and we encourage mature students to apply.
This summer course is designed to facilitate access to training in art therapy for people living far from Barcelona who cannot attend the course otherwise.

Located in the beautiful city of Malaga on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain, Speak & live provides quality Spanish language training for international students. We specialize in summer programs for simultaneous language exchanges between native Spanish speakers and native English speakers. Our summer language exchange programs consist of 13 days together with Spanish participants in a program specifically designed for rapid improvement of your oral communication in Spanish. FC Barcelona Women Camp

Learn to play the Barcelona way! FC Barcelona Women Camp is a unique camp for female soccer players ages 12-17 (born between September 1999 and July 2005), who want to improve their skills and become superstars at the best soccer school in the world! Hosted at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, just 10 minutes from Barcelona city center, campers train and practice at the same facilities as some of the world’s most iconic soccer stars.
Our camp uses cutting-edge training methods and is conducted under the management of its world-renowned coaches, who speak both English and Spanish.
Our campers also have the opportunity to experience life in the beautiful city of Barcelona, Spain through recreational activities, cultural trips, and sightseeing tours, which are all done under the expert supervision of professional and experienced personnel.
FC Barcelona Women Camp (ages 12-17)

Estudio Nómada, Barcelona
Courses / Programs
Estudio Nómada is an independent art school and artistic studio work-space in the vibrant Gothic area of Barcelona, on the north-eastern Mediterranean coast of Spain. We provide summer and year-round art programs for students from around the world. Our summer art intensive submerges you in the artistic scene of Barcelona for 9 days. We also offer our Burn-in program, which is a week of critical thinking on a beautiful Spanish wine estate with fellow thinkers and creative minds.
Our summer and year-round international art program in English (or Dutch) is for professional artists and future artists that wish to work intensively on a lasting artistic and personal development. It is comprised of workshops and personalized art tuition. All classes are one-on-one or in small groups.
The program is designed and customized for - Future art students who want to prepare for art academy or for applying to an art academy; art students that want to do an internship abroad in Barcelona; and professional artists who want to enhance their working process and/or their entrepreneurial skills. Students stay for minimum of 2 months but preferably for 6 months or more. Edu-Culture Immersion (ECI) organizes unique study abroad programs in Spain for high school & college students (ages 15-21).Our group programs are between 2-6 weeks long, and include Spanish classes in San Sebastian or the Costa Del Sol and a week of total immersion with host families.
