Sixth Form:
As a specialist Sixth Form College we offer students a wide range of academic, vocational and work-based courses as well as lots of opportunities to enhance their studies with sports, concerts, performances, outdoor pursuits, visits, work placements and more. We’ll help students prepare for a degree, a job or whatever the important next step is in their lives.

The full and part-time courses for adults in the wider community include ACCESS (an alternative route to university for those with few qualifications) and accredited options in Gardening & Horticulture, Fashion, Counselling, Languages, Basic Skills and ICT. A wide variety of general interest and leisure courses is also available throughout the year.

Northumbria University is one of the UK's largest and most respected modern universities and offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees to UK-based students and international students from around the world. We offer two university preparation (pre-sessional) courses for international students. The International Foundation Programme is a full-time course that begins in September and lasts for two semesters.
