When choosing to stay with a Francophone or Anglophone family, depending on your program, you will live a total immersion experience. Just like living at home, you will have an opportunity to continue practising and expanding your language skills while getting an even better understanding of what life is like in Montreal and Canada in general.
Our carefully-selected families are both fun and friendly. You will be welcome into their homes with open arms. Clean and comfortable, our families, reside between 30 and 60 minutes travel-time (bus and/or metro) from your classes here at UQAM.

Courses / Programs
Located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, ESLplus offers a summer ESL camp for kids. Our Summer English Fun Camp is one of our most attended programs, with kids coming to Canada from all over the world! Upon arrival to Canada, students will take a pre-camp English assessment test and will be assigned to their corresponding language levels. The curriculum follows a weekly theme, with all language lessons working around the assigned theme. New students can join the class beginning any Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday) and finishing on any Friday. Not just English learning we also have sports, team games, group dynamics, karaoke singing, movie times, show n' tell and more! Field trips to Niagara Falls, CN Tower, Canada's Wonderland, and more! Parents or older siblings can join our Summer Adult ESL Classes.

Fridge Door Live Theatre Company located in the London, Ontario, Canada region, offers a summer theatre camp for children and youth from Grades 3 - 12. We aim to build confidence, develop competence, and encourage collaboration, in a personal and caring atmosphere, through the process of a performing arts experience. Camp features include:1. Located in Squamish, BC (one hour from Vancouver), Quest University Canada is Canada's first independent, not-for-profit, nonsectarian university of the liberal arts and sciences. Renew Your Quest is our week-long adult summer program that gives you the opportunity to experience the intellectual electricity of a Quest seminar, and enjoy the spectacular natural setting of our campus, staying in our condos and eating both on campus and at local stops of interest. Quest University Canada is located in the coastal mountain community of Squamish, British Columbia, equidistant from Vancouver (70 km) and Whistler (60km), host cities of the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. Camp Warwa, Edmonton area

Located 45 minutes west of Edmonton, Alberta, Camp Warwa provides summer camp programs and outdoor education for kids and teens from Grade 1 - Grade 11. Accredited by the Alberta Camping Association, we are dedicated to offering an exceptional summer camp experience to all our campers, with programs for all ages available every week of the summer.Our camp facilities are situated on a 23-acre paradise on Lac Ste. Anne, 80 km west of Edmonton. Campers are divided into age specific groups: Pioneers, Explorers, Voyageurs, Adventurers, Anake, and Counselors-in-Training (CIT). A wide range of activities are offered including Survival Skills, Archery, Climbing Wall, Kayaking, Drama, Crafts, Nature, and more!

Main Street Community Services in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is a not for profit community agency. Using a pro-active and cognitive-behavioral approach to learning, our Social Skills Day Camp in Ottawa enables children, ages 5-14, to develop satisfying interpersonal relationships by enhancing skill proficiency in a variety of areas that foster social competency. All staff are university/college educated and trained (including dedicated Developmental Service workers, Social workers and Teachers) with several years of direct experience in this field. The Director, a clinical counsellor and a behavioural specialist are on hand always and have a Master’s level of education.
