When choosing to stay with a Francophone or Anglophone family, depending on your program, you will live a total immersion experience. Just like living at home, you will have an opportunity to continue practising and expanding your language skills while getting an even better understanding of what life is like in Montreal and Canada in general.
Our carefully-selected families are both fun and friendly. You will be welcome into their homes with open arms. Clean and comfortable, our families, reside between 30 and 60 minutes travel-time (bus and/or metro) from your classes here at UQAM.

Quest University Canada, English Summer Program
Courses / Programs
Located just 1 hour north of Vancouver, Quest University is Canada's first independent, not-for-profit, secular university. We provide a 2-week / 3.5 week English language immersion program to international high school and college students who want to improve their English language skills. Program fees include tuition and on-campus accommodation.The Quest English Summer Program aims to improve students' level of English. Students will be immersed in an academic journey into the English language, incorporating over 20 hours of class time per week. After class, students will engage in outdoors/didactic activities to complement the knowledge gained in the classroom.
Whether you are a high school or a university student, we invite you to brush up your English in an immersive, hands-on environment.
English Immersion Program for High School & University Students:

Since 1998, International House Vancouver has offered unique, educational, and fun English language (ESL) summer programs for young learners to suit every need, budget and language ability. In Vancouver, we offer a Children's Adventure Program (CAP) for children ages 5-12, suitable for mother & child or family study.
We also provide a Homestay Junior Program for 13-17 year olds, as well as a Residential Junior Program on the campus of the University of British Columbia for 9-17 year olds.

Located in Squamish, BC (one hour from Vancouver), Quest University Canada is Canada's first independent, not-for-profit, nonsectarian university of the liberal arts and sciences. Renew Your Quest is our week-long adult summer program that gives you the opportunity to experience the intellectual electricity of a Quest seminar, and enjoy the spectacular natural setting of our campus, staying in our condos and eating both on campus and at local stops of interest. Game Creation and Technology Summer Camp provides summer week-long programs for campers ages 7-16 during the months of July to August. Programs are offered in the areas of 2D and 3D Game Creation, Graphic & Web Design, 2D & 3D Animation and Video Editing. The camp runs in the Teens Computer School Office at 4544 Dufferin Street in North York in Northern Toronto. Arts by the Lake at Long Bay Camp, Westport
Courses / Programs
Located on the shores of Bobs Lake in Westport, near Ottawa, eastern Ontario in east-central Canada, Long Bay offers summer camps specializing in visual arts, drama, music and dance camps for children and teenagers aged 9-16. Our camp program involving drawing, painting, mask making, sculpting, photography, drama/theatre, rock guitar, African dance and creative writing includes instruction from wonderful and talented art teachers who are specialists in their artistic field. Your children will explore their creativity, learn new skills and make new friends, all in a fun, safe and beautiful camp atmosphere. Our summer sessions are designed for young people of all backgrounds whether they have experience or are just beginning to discover the world of art. Long Bay Camp takes pride in its well-cared-for facility that allows campers to explore nature in a safe, natural environment.
