In 1983 PLS was the first language school to be granted a license to operate in Phuket. Many schools have come and gone in this time, but PLS remains the leader in the field. We have helped more students learn a language and improve their communication skills than any other language school on the island.

We have a developed language learning system, customised study materials, experienced and qualified native teachers, comfortable air-conditioned classrooms, and we are right next to the beach!

Our materials, developed over 20 years of language training, have been tried, tested and proven to work. We focus on keeping learning as simple and fast as possible, ensuring topics are interesting and relevant so that our students are 100% confident in speaking a new language.

All classes are taught by native teachers of the respective language using materials suited to the level and needs of each student. The majority of our study materials have been developed by PLS over many years and are continually updated. Our teachers are exceptional in their ability to inspire our students to learn. Unlike the memorisation lessons used at regular schools, PLS teachers strive to make learning interesting and fun for students.

I had been doing business in Thailand for a number of years and kept putting off learning the local language. Finally I decided to do it - and now I wish I hadn't left it so long! It's proving so useful in my daily life, I don't know how I managed before. My teachers are great, the study materials are well laid out and easy to use, and the people I have met and the school environment have all made it an enjoyable experience.

Geography:
Phuket is in the south of Thailand, 867 kilometers from the capital city Bangkok. The island lies in the Indian Ocean, from 7'47" to 8'18" North latitude and from 98'12" to 98'32" West longitude. The island is connected to Phang-Nga Province on the mainland by two parallel bridges, Sarasin Bridge and the newer Thao Thep Kasatri Bridge.
