About Us:
We are proud of creating a professional, friendly atmosphere in the school. Students receive a warm welcome and quickly get to know their fellow students and staff. By operating with small class numbers, Capital School of English provides a more personal service to the student.

Activities are organised weekly and shown on the school social activities board. These include weekend guided tours to different places of interest in the UK or half-day trips to local tourist spots, such as the famous Stonehenge and Corfe Castle which are always popular. Other activities include international school parties, as well as cinema and museum trips.

Capital School of English encourages you to take part in a range of sporting activities including football, volleyball and tennis. There are also sporting activities organised with other schools. Other sports, such as golf, sailing, ten-pin bowling and horse-riding can be arranged on request. There is also a gym and swimming pool within a 10 minute walk of the school.

There are day trips on offer most weekends - these include visits to famous tourist destinations, such as London, Bath, Cambridge, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Warwick Castle, the Dorset Coast and West End Theatre breaks.

The School’s Accommodation Officer monitors the quality of service offered by host families on a regular basis.

The school is located near the main Bournemouth University campus, The Arts Institute and close to a full range of shopping and leisure facilities. Bournemouth is well known for its beautiful beaches, social life and its full range of sporting facilities. This makes it an excellent environment for overseas students. The number of nationalities vary from term to term but we include amongst our students Columbian, Chilean, Czech, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Mexican, Spanish, Slovakian & Venezuelan. All classes are small groups of no more than 14 students.
