We have a small friendly atmosphere and as a family business, offer an extremely personal service. We have students from all over Europe who come to learn English in a relaxed and fun environment. What We Do?
- MJA Language is dedicated to combining education with recreation. We have carefully selected prestigious boarding schools situated in scenic and historic locations to host our courses.
- We bring together students from different nationalities and cultures to share in the common experience of learning English.
- We recruit a staff of qualified and experienced teachers and activity leaders to supervise and educate our students.
- We provide a high quality personal service to all our clients and are on call 24 hours a day during the summer.
Which countries do your students come from?
We have long established contacts with agencies in France, Italy and Spain. More recently we have hosted students from Hong Kong and Russia.
Are the activities compulsory?
We believe that the English learned outside the classroom on our courses is extremely important. This is why we insist that students attend the full activity programme and we try as much as possible to integrate them between the nationalities.
English Courses with Cultural Activities:
Our standard English courses involve 15 hours of tuition per week in small groups of no more that 15 students. The levels we offer are based on the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for languages and are as follows: Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Good Intermediate, Near Advanced.
There is also a full programme of afternoon sports, activities and visits, excursions and evening activities. We also offer some specialist courses in dance, music and sports.
Locations:
MJA Language currently runs language courses at five centres on a permanent annual basis. These centres are situated in the historic and vibrant cities of York and Manchester and in the beautiful towns of Barnard Castle, Stamford, Ellesmere and Denbigh. At each centre we place great emphasis on looking after our students 24 hours a day. Members of our staff, together with Group Leaders, ensure that the appropriate levels of supervision and control are maintained at all times and that help is at hand should it be required.

• The International Summer School for Teens (ISSFT) offers an exciting and educational 3-week residential summer school programme in 2024 in London, England for both British & international students of ages 15 to 18 years old.• ISSFT offers high school students from around the world the chance to study in the UK during July & August, and to have fun together in a supportive, safe & nurturing environment.

Hua Hsia Chinese School, North London
Courses / Programs
• Since 2001, we have taught more than 2,000 children and adults aged between 3 and 90 to speak and write Mandarin.• Hua Hsia Chinese School is one of the UK's leading Chinese language schools, with branches in Hampstead in the borough of Camden in North Central London, and Southgate in the borough of Enfield in North London.
• This summer, Hua Hsia is offering fantastic week-long Chinese activity and culture camps for children ages 3 and up.
• All of our summer activities place an emphasis on the learning of Chinese language and culture. Our camp uses innovative teaching methods and fun activities to generate children’s interests in learning Chinese.
