The Learning Park:
The Learning Park provides students with a better way to learn English. Its innovative intensive English program & homestay caters to the whole student -- mind, body and spirit. The Learning Park facilities are located on scenic Whidbey Island near beautiful Seattle, Washington, the perfect atmosphere for making learning English enjoyable, rewarding and successful.

The language program is based on current research that suggests a level improvement in a second language takes approximately 220 hours of study. Therefore, students will have 30 hours of one-to-one language study per week for four weeks (120 hours), plus 10 hours per week of independent study in the language lab (40 hours).

The other 60 hours are filled with self-study, self-reflection through journal writing and portfolio work. You will be completely immersed in an English-speaking environment. Additionally, if you have ESP (English for Specific Purposes) needs, tours of local businesses and meetings with professionals in your field of expertise can be arranged to enhance your learning experience.

This program is tailored to your unique needs. A personalized program will be designed to ensure your 4-week program meets and/or exceeds your goals and expectations.

Courses are tailored to meet each student's unique needs. Program starts monthly for 4-week intensive study. Shorter (1 to 3 weeks), non-intensive classes (20-30 hours per week) are offered weekly depending on availability. Students requiring less intensive or shorter study periods should also send inquiries in regard to availability and fees.
