Main Street Community Services in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is a not for profit community agency. Using a pro-active and cognitive-behavioral approach to learning, our Social Skills Day Camp in Ottawa enables children, ages 5-14, to develop satisfying interpersonal relationships by enhancing skill proficiency in a variety of areas that foster social competency.

All staff are university/college educated and trained (including dedicated Developmental Service workers, Social workers and Teachers) with several years of direct experience in this field. The Director, a clinical counsellor and a behavioural specialist are on hand always and have a Master’s level of education.
Social Skills Day Camp (ages 5-14):

Through out each camp session children will be provided a fun, safe and therapeutic environment where their individuality and uniqueness is respected and nurtured. Our camp program involving drawing, painting, mask making, sculpting, photography, drama/theatre, rock guitar, African dance and creative writing includes instruction from wonderful and talented art teachers who are specialists in their artistic field. Your children will explore their creativity, learn new skills and make new friends, all in a fun, safe and beautiful camp atmosphere.

Our summer sessions are designed for young people of all backgrounds whether they have experience or are just beginning to discover the world of art. Long Bay Camp takes pride in its well-cared-for facility that allows campers to explore nature in a safe, natural environment.
