About us:
Mr Frank Ho is the founder of Ho Math and Chess Learning Center. Ho Math and Chess was founded by Mr Frank Ho when his son at age 5 was interested in learning chess. Frank Ho did not know how to play chess so he took the initiative to learn it first and then taught his son on how to play. Even though the learning process was tremendous challenging for Frank, he persisted and later his son Andrew became Canadian junior chess champion and a FIDE chess master at age 12.
Methodology:
Our computation techniques do not deviate from the method taught in traditional educational settings. No memorization on special rules required when performing computations. The computation methodology the students will learn at Ho Math and Chess is completely in line with their school work so there will be no confusion. However, using our teaching method, it will enhance a child's ability to understand math better. We have designed a curriculum to inspire children to understand the relationships between basics math operations. The relation between chess and math students will learn at Ho Math and Chess will enhance their understanding of math concepts.

Main Street Community Services in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is a not for profit community agency. Using a pro-active and cognitive-behavioral approach to learning, our Social Skills Day Camp in Ottawa enables children, ages 5-14, to develop satisfying interpersonal relationships by enhancing skill proficiency in a variety of areas that foster social competency. Located on the shores of Bobs Lake in Westport, near Ottawa, eastern Ontario in east-central Canada, Long Bay offers summer camps specializing in visual arts, drama, music and dance camps for children and teenagers aged 9-16. English in Canada - International Summer Camp is offering an English language summer program with a difference for children / teenagers ages 10 to 17 years. Our summer camp is based at the University of Ottawa, close to downtown Ottawa in the eastern portion of Southern Ontario, Canada, approximately 350 km north-east of Toronto.Each summer, over the past 30 years, 400 international students have enjoyed a unique learning experience. Summer camp participants will improve their English in a multicultural, fun setting, and will make new friends. Our language instructors, as well as activity instructors are university graduates with appropriate degrees. Our classes are limited to 15 students.
For many young students this will be the first time away from home. "Destination Canada" takes total care of its participants. They will be in a friendly and safe environment with 24-hour supervision and health care. Students will be picked up from and returned to Ottawa Airport. "Destination Canada" will make sure that all return flights are confirmed.
