About us:

Mr Frank Ho is the founder of Ho Math and Chess Learning Center. Ho Math and Chess was founded by Mr Frank Ho when his son at age 5 was interested in learning chess. Frank Ho did not know how to play chess so he took the initiative to learn it first and then taught his son on how to play. Even though the learning process was tremendous challenging for Frank, he persisted and later his son Andrew became Canadian junior chess champion and a FIDE chess master at age 12.

Methodology:

Our computation techniques do not deviate from the method taught in traditional educational settings. No memorization on special rules required when performing computations. The computation methodology the students will learn at Ho Math and Chess is completely in line with their school work so there will be no confusion. However, using our teaching method, it will enhance a child's ability to understand math better. We have designed a curriculum to inspire children to understand the relationships between basics math operations. The relation between chess and math students will learn at Ho Math and Chess will enhance their understanding of math concepts.

Frankho puzzle is a special kind of puzzle where Sudoku, chess and math are all combinied into one worksheets. Located in Squamish, BC (one hour from Vancouver), Quest University Canada is Canada's first independent, not-for-profit, nonsectarian university of the liberal arts and sciences. Our Summer Scholars program is a pre-university summer program for exceptional high school students (Grades 10 - 12). The program runs over three weeks and consists of one-week courses on a variety of topics. Students can choose to attend for one, two, or three weeks. The program is available as a residential program or a day camp for local commuters.

Our Summer Scholars program is designed to inspire the next generation of thinkers and leaders. You will experience a week of engaging in an academic course in the mornings, and participating in related social and recreational activities in the afternoons and evenings. Located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, ESLplus offers a summer ESL camp for kids. Our Summer English Fun Camp is one of our most attended programs, with kids coming to Canada from all over the world! Upon arrival to Canada, students will take a pre-camp English assessment test and will be assigned to their corresponding language levels. The curriculum follows a weekly theme, with all language lessons working around the assigned theme. New students can join the class beginning any Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday) and finishing on any Friday. Not just English learning we also have sports, team games, group dynamics, karaoke singing, movie times, show n' tell and more! Field trips to Niagara Falls, CN Tower, Canada's Wonderland, and more!
