Computer Programming Summer Camps - For kids & teens ages 7-17
Course Duration: 1 week or 2 weeks
In our summer camps, kids and teens can start learning the fundamentals of computer science, and learn the secrets of video game design today. With a maximum of just 4 students per instructor, kids learn best in our focused classes. We teach kids and teens how to use real game industry-standard computer programming software just like the pros. Your child will learn real programming languages like Visual Basic, Java, C# and C++.
Held in late June till mid-August, classes are held weekdays 9:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-4:00pm. Many students graduate through several courses in one summer, learning more about programming with each class.
Year-Round Computer Programming Classes
In addition to our summer camps, we offer 27-week computer programming courses, with classes meeting once a week, either on weeknights or Saturdays. Each session lasts anywhere from 1 to 3 hours.

Game Creation and Technology Summer Camp provides summer week-long programs for campers ages 7-16 during the months of July to August. Programs are offered in the areas of 2D and 3D Game Creation, Graphic & Web Design, 2D & 3D Animation and Video Editing. The camp runs in the Teens Computer School Office at 4544 Dufferin Street in North York in Northern Toronto. The camp runs from 9 to 5.30 Mon-Fri excluding holidays.At the Game Creation Summer Camp, our goal is to provide a FUN, INTERACTIVE & MEMORABLE experience for your child. Since 1998, International House Vancouver has offered unique, educational, and fun English language (ESL) summer programs for young learners to suit every need, budget and language ability. In Vancouver, we offer a Children's Adventure Program (CAP) for children ages 5-12, suitable for mother & child or family study.
We also provide a Homestay Junior Program for 13-17 year olds, as well as a Residential Junior Program on the campus of the University of British Columbia for 9-17 year olds.

Main Street Community Services in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is a not for profit community agency. Using a pro-active and cognitive-behavioral approach to learning, our Social Skills Day Camp in Ottawa enables children, ages 5-14, to develop satisfying interpersonal relationships by enhancing skill proficiency in a variety of areas that foster social competency. All staff are university/college educated and trained (including dedicated Developmental Service workers, Social workers and Teachers) with several years of direct experience in this field. The Director, a clinical counsellor and a behavioural specialist are on hand always and have a Master’s level of education.

We will open through the summer !! Soroban helps build self-confidence and strengthens children’s ability to think critically and creatively. Children start as early as Kindergarten. The Soroban method helps one easily understand number concepts and is a comprehensive system for embracing concepts and high achievement in mathematics.
The use of the Soroban abacus uses a left to right calculation method, which makes quick estimation and rounding off possible. It improves the understanding of compounded numbers (the Soroban uses supplementary numbers for 5 and 10). The Soroban visually shows the concepts of decimal places and the progression of units by tens. The Soroban develops not only greater mental capacity, but mental calculation, which is the ultimate resource.
Japanese children proficient in the Soroban (Japanese parents often send their children to Soroban tutors for training) can eventually visualize the Soroban in their minds and do high level arithmetic without the aid of any calculating tool. The Soroban instantly accomplishes addition and subtraction when you placed the numbers on the abacus.
