About Farm & Wilderness:

Farm & Wilderness is a non-profit educational organization which, since 1973, has carried forward the traditions and programs begun in 1939 by the F&W co-founders, Kenneth and Susan Howard Webb.

Why Choose a Farm & Wilderness Summer Camp?

-  Encouraging Self-Exploration
F&W encourages physical, emotional and spiritual exploration within clearly set boundaries of safety. Campers are encouraged to find their own edge of challenge.

-  Instilling Community Values
F&W emphasizes self within community. Each person has a valued role to play within the larger group. This community-building focus fosters a greater understanding of human interdependence and how to work and succeed within a group.

-  Removed From Modern Life
F&W allows children a total removal from the bustle and demands of their busy, electronic lives. There is no recorded music, no television, and no electronic gadget of any kind at F&W.

Our Mission:

- To create community that values long term stewardship of our environment
- To encourage hard work and joyful play
- To offer rugged, hands-on, outdoor adventure and challenge
- To grow the seeds of courage and integrity in all participants
