Theatre, Acting and Voice Classes:
We offer theatre, acting and voice classes for young children of six years upwards as well as teenagers. Students develop an ability to improvise and to bring one's own personal and honest response to the text or the script. We have a full season of mainstage Broadway musicals and children's programming.
Acting and Song Contest:
We also have a Delco Idol contest during summer months, so that young people ages 14-24, who may not otherwise have an outlet for their talents, have the ability to showcase themselves and their favorite songs in any genre onstage in front of hundreds of people with positive feedback from entertainment specialists and local community leaders.
Summer Camp:
Camp Media Theatre is an extraordinary and exciting opportunity for young actors to study with Professional Directors, Performers, and Technicians. This intensive, two-week day camp is a fun, enriching and rewarding experience.
Campers write, design, and perform an improvisational theatre production that is performed on the Media Theatre stage for family, friends and the general public.
Each camp session is designed for children 5-17 years of age, in three separate age groups.
