Foundation Year - Art, Media & Design
This Foundation Year in Art, Media & Design, is the first year (or year 0) of a 4-year extended programme of undergraduate studies at The Cass ( The Sir John Cass Department of Art, Media and Design). It replaces the BTEC Foundation Course which the department has previously run. A foundation year offers the opportunity to enter university twelve months earlier than by the customary route. It provides the chance to engage, explore and experiment with a diverse range of art, media and design subjects. Students build up a portfolio of skills and experience sufficient to guarantee progress to whichever of our twenty-eight degree courses is most appropriate to their needs and aspirations.

International Foundation Programme - Art & Design
This course gives you the chance to spend a year preparing for a university degree course in the heart of London. You will be able to develop subject knowledge, English language skills and the study skills you will need to go on to a degree course. The course will give you an understanding of the main areas of your chosen specialisation. It will also introduce you to academic study in the UK and if necessary help you to reach a level equivalent to at least 5.5 IELTS in English. You will be registered as a London Metropolitan University student. Successful students are guaranteed a place on a degree course, an HND or Foundation course here. As a registered student you have full use of our facilities including: access to over 700 new computers; internet and email facilities; language labs; library; gym and sports facilities for our Halls of Residence.

National Certificate - Polymer Technology
Most students on this distance-learning course are new to the industry or are employed as technicians who want to develop their careers in the polymer, manufacturing and allied industries.
