Quality Italian Language Instruction:

• Whether you are a total beginner or have already had some exposure to the Italian language, we have a class that will meet your individual needs. Our Italian classes are offered at nine levels from total beginner through to advanced.

• Our professional Italian teachers use a communicative approach which means that you are speaking and practicing Italian from your first lesson.

• If you are learning Italian around a busy schedule, you can opt for our private Italian lessons. You can schedule your classes for times that best suit you, including at weekends and evenings. In addition, we offer online Italian classes.

Located in beautiful Huntington Beach, CA, Orange Coast Gakuen (OCG) is a Japanese language school that provides Japanese language learning courses to students of all ages and ability levels. Our Japanese classes are catered for elementary school age children, junior & senior high schoolers, and adults alike.

Our classes are divided into 'tracks', allowing us to teach children and adults of all backgrounds in the Japanese language. One track is for learners of Japanese as a Heritage Language (JHL), designed for students who regularly hear and speak Japanese in their home environments. A second track is for learners of Japanese as a Foreign Language (JFL), which is designed for students with less background in Japanese.

Our classes also include a variety of cultural activities and events, as well as opportunities to take additional cultural classes such as Japanese flower arrangement for adults, or Japanese calligraphy.

Viva el Español is a non-profit Spanish Language and Culture Center serving children and adults in the East Bay area of California. We are a before and after-school program, and teach a wide range of Spanish language courses to young amigos from ages 1 and up, pre-school through high school. Situated in Alameda CA, Bay Language Academy provides beginner to advanced level classes and after school programs to children and adults in a variety of languages. We currently offer Spanish, Mandarin, French, Japanese, Italian, Korean, English, German and Arabic.

Focusing on the specific needs of students and their parents, the classes are offered once, twice or three times weekly after school in 75 to 150-minute sessions. Parents are informed after each class of what was covered and what is expected from the young students for the next session.

The overall method is based on a modular teaching with an approach based on task, where a balance between practice and theory is achieved. The aim is to develop effective communication skills through the elementary development of the four basic language known skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
