Summer Math Camp:
Classic Math School is a nonprofit organization located in Fremont, Alameda County CA. We offer a Summer Math Camp which is an extension of the Classic Math School Program (designed for promoting Math study among school children in the response to broadening concerns regarding the situation with math education). Our Fremont location serves East Bay, Milpitas, and east San Jose. We are also providing our summer math camp at our Palo Alto location, Santa Clara County which serves Peninsula and South Bay.
- Summer Math Camp (all ages):
Summer Math Camp is an extension of the Classic Math School Program. Thus, the same educational philosophy and techniques apply. Meeting most parents’ needs, we provide half-day and full-day programs by including some other courses besides Math and creating a unique well-balanced Math-centered curriculum.
All the classes permit students to work at a challenging pace, to explore topics in depth, and to study subjects and develop skills that students their age often do not have the opportunity to pursue. Summer program gives them a better picture of their own academic abilities and potential, helps them to develop better work and study habits, and refines their educational goals. In this regard, all courses enhance and broaden the students’ overall educational experiences and sharpen their academic skills.
Our summer math camps include classes in: Math, Science, English (Critical Thinking), Art (Hands-on Geometry) and SAT I Prep course (for qualified 6th graders and Junior High School students) and new Geometry and Algebra crash courses.
- Half Day Camp (8:30 am - 1:30 pm)
- Optional Afternoon Extension (1:30 pm - 4:30 pm): includes chess / swimming / tennis activities.
- Full Day Program (8.30 am - 4.30 pm)
Additional Services:
- Early arrival facility (7.45 am - 8.30 am)
- Late leave facility (4.30 pm - 5.15 pm)
The courses cover a great deal of material and place emphasis on active learning and putting knowledge to use in independent and creative ways. The student /teacher ratio in classes is very low, allowing considerable opportunities for individualized instruction and attention. Our instructors have expertise in their disciplines and come from a variety of professional backgrounds and educational settings.

Youth Empowered Action
Courses / Programs
Youth Empowered Action (YEA) Camp is a unique and inspiring residential summer leadership program in California, Oregon and Massachusetts for youth 12-17 years who want to make a difference in the world. Our northern California camp will be held at the beautiful Quaker Center in Ben Lomond, Santa Cruz County, about two hours drive south of San Francisco. There will be two sessions in Oregon at Camp Adams in Molalla, Clackamas County, less than an hour from Portland. YEA Camp Massachusetts is held at the beautiful Hilltop space of Nature’s Classroom in Charlton, an hour from Boston, and less than 3 hours from Manhattan. At a week-long sleep-away program in a beautiful camp setting, YEA campers choose an issue of importance to them (for example, some have chosen climate change, racism, homophobia, homelessness, or animal rights) and they build the knowledge, skills, confidence, and community to take action on that issue once they get home.

Teen Entrepreneur Summer Academy, Concordia University

Based on campus at Concordia University Irvine (just 40 miles southeast of Los Angeles), Teen Entrepreneur Summer Academy provides a one-week summer camp academy that teaches business and entrepreneurship principles to state-wide, national and international teenagers. TEA is limited to 100 high school students. Fees include living on campus for the week including room, board, books, field trips and classes.The challenges facing high school students and our world grow more complex every day. In our 20th year, TechKnowHow offers a variety of computer and Robotics courses throughout the San Francisco Bay Area (Burlingame, Concord, Cupertino, Foster City, Fremont, Livermore, Palo Alto, Pleasanton, San Francisco, San Jose, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, CA). TechKnowHow started providing afterschool computer classes to students in 1994. We have been offering summer computer camps since 1996, as well offering classes for GATE students and enrichment programs. Each year, we design new classes for the summer and perfect them throughout the school year. We continue to add classes and locations each year, thanks to the positive results we receive from campers and parents each summer.
Fun and Educational Summer Technology Classes For Students Ages 5 - 14. Robotics, Computer Game Design, Construction Using LEGO Bricks & Motors.
