Valley View Adventist Academy is a Seventh-day Adventist private K-10 Christian school located in Arroyo Grande in San Luis Obispo County, CA (between Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area). We offer kindergarten, elementary and middle school programs. Our staff is committed to providing quality education in a Christ-filled environment. It was established in 1911 and is owned and operated by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church for the purpose of providing quality Christian education. In addition to our high academic standards, we encourage children to grow spiritually, socially and physically. 90% of our graduates go on to college. Stockdale Christian School in Bakersfield in Kern County is a private Christian school serving boys and girls in grades preschool through to eighth. Stockdale Christian Schools is an extension of the ministry of First Assembly of God Church, Bakersfield, CA. Woodbury Preschool Village is located at 712 W. Mountain View, Altadena, CA 91001 and provides Infant care, Preschool and Kindergarten child care. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm with a special early bird program that opens as early as 7:00 am. There are full time, part time, and half-day programs available. Through developmentally appropriate practice, our program provides for a variety of experiences, levels of difficulty, and pacing. We offer infants, preschool and kindergarten programs for children aged 6 weeks to 7 years. We are a non-profit corporation established in 1987 by San Bernardino City employees, San Bernardino County employees and CA state employees.Teddy Bear Tymes provides advanced training in infant-toddler care through our infant / toddler care program which is sponsored by the CA Dept. of Education. Our preschool curriculum is matched to the CA State preschool learning foundations daily, and our kindergarten classes meet state and local school district standards in all curriculum areas.
