Ontario International College, Toronto:
Ontario International College is an inspected private English language school school registered with the Ontario Ministry of Education and located in Toronto, Ontario, east-central Canada. It is accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education to offer summer and winter ESL (English as a Second Language) and EAP (English for Academic Purposes) programs including general, academic and business English courses, English homestay, exam preparation IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, GMAT and GRE and Ontario Secondary School Diploma Grade 11 and 12 University preparation courses to students from around the world. We also offer graduate preparation programs, work and holiday & work and study programs.
ESL Program:
The ESL program at OIC consist of 5 modules at 7 weeks each.
Each level of ESL courses is compounded of intensive training and lenguage adquisition in five areas of English proficiency: listening comprehension, vocabulary and reading ability, grammar and structure, writing skills and oral communication with a focus on improving the student’s integrated English skills.

1. Basic / 2. Low Intermediate / 3. Intermediate
4. High Intermediate / 5. Advanced
General English
General English courses provide a comprehensive foundation in writing, conversation, pronunciation, reading and listening skills.
There are four types of General English courses that provide a base for mastering the core language skills:
• Reading and Writing
• Listening and Speaking
• Grammar Practice
• English Through Media
Academic English
Academic English courses are designed to take students to a whole new level of English proficiency to enable them to succeed in university courses developed for native English speakers.
Business English
Business English courses target those students who plan to be involved in international business. The course embraces all aspects of business communication, from preparing common business documents to effective employment interviewing strategies.
Homestay English
The Ontario International College Homestay program is an excellent way to improve your English, to meet new people, and to learn about Canada and Canadian culture.
When students are admitted to Ontario International College, they are required to take the English Placement Test. After reviewing the test results, our English department decides on the appropriate ESL level for each student. At the end of each module, students take the English Benchmark Exam to find out whether they progressed enough to move on to the next level.
Exam Preparation Courses:
Our Exam Preparation Courses include IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, GMAT and GRE.
University Placement / Preparation Courses:
At OIC we offer our students two options of pathways to university placement depending on the academic background of our students when they are first admitted.
Option One is tailored to those students who have already earned a Secondary School Diploma from their home country. Students who are intended for this option must earn a total of 7 university preparation course credits and must score more than 80% in every subject if they wish to seek successful placement in a prestigious university degree program.
Option Two is designed for those students who have not earned any Secondary School qualifications from their home country or for students who would like to earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Students who are enrolled in this option must satisfy the Ministry requirements of Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
Graduate Preparation Course:
The Graduate Preparation Diploma has been specially designed by Ontario International College (OIC) for international students who have completed their baccalaureate degree, or equivalent qualification, and who wish to pursue a Masters degree program at a university in an English-speaking country.
Working Holiday Program:
Toronto International College has designed a program that will help and has a special offer to young people in the Working Holidays Program:
* Live with a Canadian family
* Take an ESL Program and focus on listening and speaking, introduce Canadian’s daily life
* Job Placement - you will enjoy working in different companies in English speaking environment
Work and Study Program:
We also offer a Work and Study Program for young people interested in working and studying in Canada.
