Montessori Academy Spanish Immersion:
Montessori Academy Spanish Immersion (MASI), located in the north side of Oak Park, north western Chicago in Cook County, Illinois, is a private home montessori academy offering 100% Spanish Immersion for children 15 months to 12 years of age. A variety of programs are available year-round from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, including after school programs in English and Spanish, summer camps and tutoring in English, Calculus, Algebra and Geometry to students of any age.
In May 2002 Mary Rueda (B.A. in Psychology), arrived in Oak Park and started her path in Montessori education. She has been a Montessori teacher in the Park Ridge and Oak Park area for many years. In addition to being a member of the American Montessori Society, she holds a Montessori Certification from MECA.

Montessori Academy Spanish Immersion provides a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment that promotes respect for diversity, independence, positive self-esteem, and social-cognitive development in children helping them to become successful in all areas of life.

Learning a second language at a young age is an effective way to greatly advance the development of all children. Research has shown that by the age six the human brain has achieved almost all of its sigificant growth. Learning a second language at a young age helps to develop the child's brain pathways in the auditorioum cortex, stimulating general intelligence.
Recent research shows that the brains of multi-lingual people utilize more available neurons for language processing than monolinguals which naturally expands brain activity as a whole. Spanish is spoken by more than 400 million people worldwide, which is sufficient reason to learn the language.

MASI is located in Oak Park, a suburb bordering the west side of the city of Chicago, llinois. Oak Park has easy access to downtown Chicago (the Chicago Loop) through public transportation such as the Chicago 'L' Blue and Green lines, CTA buses, and Metra commuter rail.

L&L Academy and Preschool is located on Clark Street in Chicago in Cook County (Just a block away from Lincoln Park Zoo), and offers daycare and preschool programs for children aged between three and six years. • A homeschool diploma is awarded to high school seniors on successful completion of the program, and an official transcript that states that they have completed the requirements for graduation in their state.

Creative Scholars Preschool is located in the heart of Chicago, Cook County, near Lincolnwood and Irving Park, with easy access to Freeway 90 and 94. A Ministry of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sonshine Christian Preschool offers half day preschool programs for children ages 3-5. Our school is situated in Dundee, Kane County IL, 45 miles north-east of Chicago.

Children's Garden Montessori is located in Oak Park, west of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. It is a Montessori Pre-school & Kindergarten with daycare education programs for children ages 2 through to 6 years, of all races, religions and national origin. Children's Garden Montessori pre-school is a privately owned and operated school, chartered in Oak Park and licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services. We serve Oak Park, Melrose Park, Galewood, Montclare, Elmwood Park and surrounding communities. Children must be at least 2 yrs old before entry and can stay until they complete the Kindergarten Year. We employ both Montessori & Early Childhood Education trained teachers.
